Depends on the source of them… pretty much water in and they will adjust their population and location to the food sources in the media or given off from the rootsAnyone have any techniques for bacterial or fungal inoculation during the flowering stage?
A liquid culture syringe just like substrate inoculation in mushroom cultivation. A long liquid culture/spore syringe will put it right where you want it to start out.Anyone have any techniques for bacterial or fungal inoculation during the flowering stage?

Exactly this… and they spread fast so just like hand grenades close is good enoughA liquid culture syringe just like substrate inoculation in mushroom cultivation. A long liquid culture/spore syringe will put it right where you want it to start out.
I feel like if you have the right bacterias in your inoculation blend getting the spores closer to the root isn't really the issue, I think its more about wether or not they are actually germinating and or surviving to infect the roots. If bacteria chemistry isn't right the inoculation doesn't always work as well from what I understand.A liquid culture syringe just like substrate inoculation in mushroom cultivation. I've just noticed when I inoculate with my starter blend during flowering something is going on and the plants don't respond well.oops, misunderstood. My bad! Yep, great question: "is [there] specific blends of bacteria or fungi that would be better suited to introduce during flower versus the starter blends[?]"![]()
Seems logical that the soil microbiome would change with the plant stage.I

Do you inoculate during flower with the same blend as propagation?Yeah misunderstood also… not quite what the title states nor the first post lol.
it depends what you are looking to accomplish… there is a huge variety of microbes that perfom different functions… its not as simple as flower and veg
Well it depends on media… in hydro there are many that are beneficial but not well suitedDo you inoculate during flower with the same blend as propagation?
With hyrdo it seems the bacteria is mostly protective and filling a space that a pathogen might fill.Well it depends on media… in hydro there are many that are beneficial but not well suited
I try to avoid using single strains of anything as they definitely work better together. I don't think anyone really knows quite yet as this is a fairly new research. In that case you want bacillus amyloliquefaciens
Not so much when you add multiple they need to play nice or one will outcompete and kill the other.I try to avoid using single strains of anything as they definitely work better together. I don't think anyone really knows quite yet as this is a fairly new research.
Well these blends have been formulated to be symbiotic with each other, but thats an interesting point to bring up as I tend to avoid introducing inoculation after propagation and transplant for that exact reason, so I don't disrupt the balance of the soil biome. Not so much when you add multiple they need to play nice or one will outcompete and kill the other.
just at the gym but will pop back afetrr
another reason i'm not a fan of compost teas for soilNot so much when you add multiple they need to play nice or one will outcompete and kill the other.
