Lexington wasn't always a destination city for drugs being sent through the mail. Postal Inspector Roberta Bottoms said Lexington was a source city, back when marijuana was grown here and shipped out. But now, with the legalization of marijuana in some states (Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Washington D.C.), Bottoms said it's trendy to send it from a legal state, to one where it's not legal, like Kentucky.
