It helps above all against lice, spider mites, and cabbage flies; I am not aware that it attacks beneficial insects. As a natural remedy, it should only repel unwanted insects. The effect is based on a combination because it is also a plant strengthening agent.

Looked a lot the same for many thousands of years even after humans got involved. Wild type cannabis is not the same as a landrace, there is selection involved in landraces, be it, plants or animals.

Now I have slowly reduced to 15 hours of lighting. A few males have already revealed themselves :) I will repot them as quickly as possible.
I was able to select 3 outstandingly good plants. With one of my all-time best selections. The overall appearance of the strain is rather average. But you can work on that.
I hope the other two good plants are female. Thanks

I have grown Middle Eastern strains the past couple years. I'm in a high desert climate at 45 degrees N latitude. Sandy loam, plants outdoors in the ground.

Iraq Babylon - One of the earliest to show sex. Quick to flower and mature. Smooth and a joy to smoke. Moderate THC, guessing in the 10 -15% range nice mellow high. Plants were small with low yield.

Lebanese and "Beirut Quickie" - Plants ranging from short hash plants to 6-7' tall, Beirut Quickie (Lebanese) is faster. Both will bloom and finish early, harvest in Mid September. One of my favorite strains. Moderate THC and high CBD. Dreamy relaxing and clear high. Very smooth and pleasant to smoke. One of my favorite strains likely due to high CBD and strong body high.

Sinai - Short hash plants with sativa phenotype. Like the others, fast to flower, starting to bloom in mid to late July. Early finish in September. Smooth and a pleasant smoke. Moderate THC, clear focused and dreamy high. Low yield from small plants.

Sudanese - Similar to the Middle Eastern strains. Short, low yield. Smooth smoke, pleasant high.

Beldia - Can get to 6-7' tall, generous yield. Vigorous plants that bloom early and finish by mid-late September. Great smoke, reminescent of Morrocan hash I smoked in the 70s.

Purple Gin (cross of Kandahar (Afghani) and Iraq Babylon) Sturdy Indica phenotype, grows to 8' tall, generous yield. Green and purple buds. This is a real winner. Starts blooming in early August. Finish by first week of October. Strong smoke, guessing 20% or higher THC.

All of these thrive in my location. No issues with pests, and disease. Very tolerant to weather extremes, frost and snow.

Photo is Lebanese plant, 2025 outdoor grow.

I grew a Lebanese IBL from Lucky13 last summer. It did start blooming early but was very sensitive to Septoria and I had to cut it down early. I'm in Southeast Michigan so not the best climate.

I will be following to see how it does for you. In the meantime I, in my garden, have vowed to spray many times to try and get a harvest outdoors this year. Good luck.

Top one looks like fasciation! I’ve just seen a lot of people with whorled phyllotaxy and fasciation and other mutations that immediately start proclaiming polyploidism when there is only one sure way of knowing! There are other causes! You do you! They are interesting!

I have now received the 60 S1 seeds, but the promised regular seeds for the forum were not included :) Also, 'The Landrace Team' gave me a rather poor offer regarding the cuttings I was supposed to make for them. As you can see, they didn’t really put much effort into the selection of the 60 S1 seeds either; only one is deformed, but still. I have now transferred them money for the seeds out of fairness and have politely parted ways with the team. I could have sent the seeds back, but they refused to give me an address to send them to lol; they wanted me to destroy the seeds and send them pictures of it, crazy, right? I did all the work, prepared everything here, and actively posted in the forum and promoted the 'Pink Lavender' so that I feel obliged to start something for you :) That's why I am making a report for you about the S1 seeds ;) also good.
I do not want to explain further out of respect for their and my privacy, but something like that is just not acceptable. Above all, they became really insulting towards me when I declined them :((.

Hello friends,

I chose the three plants myself, all perfectly healthy so far. The sativa and indica phenos are probably female, the hybrid pheno is male and has been flowering for about 9-10 days.

This is how it is with the Iraqis: So 50% do not flower after about 6 weeks, 20% flower after 5 weeks, 30% flower early after 3-4.

The selected male therefore starts flowering from week 4-5 and rather reluctantly ;) he is perfectly healthy and one of the strongest plants. The other two are not flowering yet.
