Is 1 inline fan enough to pull through 4 lights?

Would one be enough to pull the hot air from 4 air cooled lights? it will be vented out of the structure. the 4 lights will be in a 2 x 2 setup.
Also in the colder part of the year can you pull the cold air infrom the outside to cool the lights? I dont know if it would create a humidity problem.

What size lights? I'm pretty sure u need 1 fan for 2 lights.. I'm thinking u need another fan.. U can pull outside air as long as u filter it..

How big is the fan you want to use? I’m using a 8 inch 737 can that is pulling air throw 5 1k lights.. Every hood stays cold to the touch.

You can pull air in from outside if you have the ability too. Just make sure to use insolated ducting.

One problem I had was that the outside air was cold causing the ducting to create condensation inside the room that would start dripping on my plants. Leading to bud mold.

Filter the air if you can. It will keep you from having to clean the glass as often.

Make sure all your lights are sealed up good.

Damn that's pretty good 5 lights... In my tent my one 6in fan can barly cool my one 1000 watt light.. But that's cuz it's going threw my filter 1st then the light.. I should of went with 8in

Thanks guys. The lights will be 2 600 watts for sure. But the other two lights might end up being 1000's . I have been reading about using 600's because they are more efficient.
So maybe i need to look into the 8in fan. The things i do for fresh tomatoes.
Can you recommend a good fan/filter?

Phat filter is the best & vortex fans r mega bomb but I can't afford a vortex.. I got 2 centrifugal fans.. & they work great.. Active Air fans r pretty cheap also.. Cheap as in low cost

2 600s in a 2x2 area ummmmmmm I dont think thats a great idea my 250 is over kill for my 2x2....Fuck it use cpu fans to cool them down and can the 600 and go 1000 for sure !!!!

LOL Ya that would be a problem. However I was referring to them being used in 2 rows of 2 ie 2x2 . Its actually in a 10ft x 11ft room.
Why do you say go for the 1000 for sure? Obviously 1000 is bigger than a 600. But 600's have the most value per watt in terms of energy consumption of the 2. And the 1000 only puts out 20000 more lummens (with new Bulbs) than the 600.

i have a 10" vortex pulling through 4 600s & 1 1k no problem.



and ill tell you this, 600 has more lumens per watt, but also has a higher light loss the further you get from the plants. 1ks kill 600s, thats a fact. i will never buy another 600 again after getting a 1k. bigger better buds, less popcorn.

I just made the swap myself from the 600 to 1000 its seems to be working way better...with a 600 I don't really see that being worth it for me for some ppl sure if they have everything dialed in I think Texas kid said he pulled 2.2 with a 600 ....But It was better for me to grab the 1000 for flower this time to get some better wight ...If ppl can do that with a 600 then why not get more with a 1000...
