Scratch all the complicated mess. Use a basic soil and follow feed chart. Coco is a prelude to hydro, controlling every aspect of what the plant needs. Coco needs conditioning with nutrients all grow and IMO is not for the first time grower looking for a successful run.
Keep it super simple on yourself and skip the soils that have proclaimed nutrients available in them. It will only confuse you with plant toxicity or deficiency and you’ll be playing with nutrients too much chasing problems.
Simple soil, follow feed charts. If using cloth grow bags, line the Outside circumference of the pot with top soil as you fill in with the regular soil to prevent premature soil drying.

No man I googled how to stop fruit flies. Neem oil was first thing I seen that worked.
Bought captain something neem oil it said to apply generously in the morning. Yeah I heard about soil being to hot but I couldn't find anything without nutrients in my area. I went with this soil because it said organic. I live in a small town in northern Minnesota.I didn't know shit but have since learned how to read the back of bag. Is this too hot. Also I have well water. Google said to not use hard water. And also thanks for the help man. I really know nothing. I'm grateful for anytime you give this.
Use that soil and follow a feed chart. If you have gnats, use T drops in every feed. You’ll have a successful grow.

I see lots of new growers attempting to get advanced and using random nutrients, different brands and basically making a proprietary supplement regime. First time, buy a line of products that has a feed chart and post up. Once you understand complex nutrients and how to thoroughly identify and mix random nutrients/supplements, that’s what I’d suggest.

As first grower, environment should be your main focus and nutrients should be as simple as possible by following a chart.

Is this all soil? I keep hearing that I should switch to coco but, I get decent grows in soil. I am just looking for amazing grows. I don't know what I have I guess. I think it's time to start showing some pictures.
yeah this is all soil grow

Coco will grow more like hydro, soil is low maintenance. 🤷‍♂️ same results really imo

I've been in promix type soils for close to 25 years and I don't see any reason to change. I bought into Auto Pots a while back and I still use promix and perlite at about 50/50. I like the phrase "keep it simple stupid " or is it " keep it stupid simple" either way PM is the simple way to go for me.

There are some great "seed to harvest" videos on YouTube, that can help new growers get through their first run. The one I usually recommend for synthetic nutrients in soil is "The Complete Beginners Guide to Growing Cannabis" from Welcome to the Growtent. There are other good ones, depending on your system. Mr. Canucks and Build-a-Soil are great for organic. Bill Ward is great for autos. Dawgo the Hutt and Dr. MJ Coco have good info for coco. Those are just some channels I like. There are lots of good ones.
Drives my Chic crazy, get into bed and grab the remote so I can watch YouTube growing vids! I've watched all these cats numerous times, well worth spending some time seeing the experienced ways.
