I’m relatively a new grower. I’m on my fourth crop with tent indoors and led lights. Had few crops on balcony that went fairly well but needed more darkness so I got the tent. I had a basic hygrometer and thermometer and I started without a humidifier. Then I realized that seedlings and early vegetation was starving for moisture. That’s when everything got complicated. The original humidifier was either too much moisture or too little. So I got a uis controller, fan and humidifier and auto watering pots. Now I see everything that’s going on in the tent. As the plants grow and the weather outside changes the environment is constantly needing adjustment. The tent is against a bay window on west side of apartment where all the wind hits so the weather does change things. I have been adding fans, removing fans, opening and closing flaps, changing minimum and maximum outputs on devices and all sorts of things to keep temps and humidity in desired range. I’m also doing what I can to keep fluctuations at a minimum. This is a lot more attention than I’ve done in any of my crops. It is also first grow with all the high tech gear. My past crops came out great and people gave me a lot of compliments on quality. The question that remains to be answered is; is all this extra attention going to give me a better yield and quality? I hope so but only time will tell.

I do outdoor growing in containers and even that, my wife says it sure looks like a helluva lot of work. She sees me giving them over an hour a day but she doesn't know only 15 minutes is inspecting and the rest is admiring. 🤣
