I live in a place with a very hot climate, so Id have to use a wine fridge that has a compressor instead of being thermoelectric, the thermoelectric technology doesnt keep temps cools enough when the outside is above 35 degrees celsius.

Is it possible to make a similar less fancy model (without the hard/firmware) but with a compressor model instead of a thermoelectric? does anyone know that? If so, where should I drill the holes for the cables and for the drain? How to make sure the water from the dehumidifier placed inside is going to fall directly through the hole on the bottom of the unit?

I posted a wine fridge model that could be used

Nah, the compressor is too aggressive. It’ll drastically swing the temperature down and humidity up within seconds causing condensation in a high humidity environment. Placing a humidifier inside such a small space would swing the temperature right back up in seconds requiring the compressor to run again. It’ll yoyo continuously and aggressively. A thermoelectric cooler can be controlled so finely that it can run continuously to hold a precise temperature and by including a fan the excess humidity can be slowly drawn out of the enclosure instead of condensating.

However, a wine fridge with a compressor can easily be used to store product in jars that is already dried. Similar to how a cooled cigar humidor functions. A simple temperature controller can be used to maintain an ideal storage temperature between 65-70f.

The thing is, Ive heard someone else on many other threads saying they successfuly dried their buds in compressor models

It's not that you can't dry in a compressor style wine chiller, its you don't have the kind of control you need. You can control the temperature but those humidity swings will impact the quality of the drying process. So yes, someone probably did do it but I think most people would say its not the best tool for the job. There's more potential for mold if you're not careful.

Got it! What about the too high temperatures in summer? The thermoelecfric ones cant make temps low enough if its 95 degrees outside the fridge

An insulated room with an air conditioner mounted in the wall would do just fine.

Light bills will go up, thats 24h air con on
Cool the room to 94F and run your cannatrol. The simplest solution is sometimes the best. But weed and engineering overly complicated solutions do go hand in hand.
