i have a heme in among some othe female in a raised bed. is it possible to dig it up and move it to a new spot without killing it?

i was thinking it might yield buds as well as seeds for next year. this happened to me last year when i was harvesting after hanging the plants i had a plant that had buds and seeds. i didn`t notice it until i was triming the buds and some seeds fell out.
