I am a first time grower and wanting to get things right so that being said could someone with experience please tell me if my buds are ready to be harvested and if not maybe how far off from harvesting I am. I would greatly appreciate any and all help in determining this time frame. Thank you so much in advance.

It looks like they could use more time. Have you looked at the trichomes?
