Is it too early to do a Day defoliation.

I am 10 days since the flip. I have many prebuds growing already. Several large leaves are shading some of these prebuds somewhat. Should I get some of the large leaves out of the way now? Some of these prebuds are noticeably smaller than the prebuds at the very top of the plant.

I would not remove any leaves from that plant, but that is just my opinion.

Also, bud sites at the top of the plant will usually be bigger than the bottom, regardless of leaves blocking light or not.

Acapulco Gold is wide open anyways. I am just thinking out loud. Open to suggestions.

Starting bloom fertilizer mid week.

I agree, some lower branches that are small I would remove. But I wouldn't touch the fan leaves, I should of clarified that.

I am just some dude but I would remove those 2 lowest branches. Plant already has a lot going on upstairs.

Each of those low branches has a pre flower on the very tip. I will probably chop them tomorrow.
