Just got back into growing and I wanted to see what you guys thought about my plant. I'm use to growing with the lucas formula and hps I have led now. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Plant is a cap junky clone from a dispensary. I just got a ph and ec meter today and fed using mills in 1 gallon.
.5ml vitalize
.5ml microbe life terps plus
4ml base a
4ml base b
4ml start r
2ml cal mag
Finished ec: 1.392 ph: 5.94
Temp in tent stays in between 73 at night and sometimes gets to 83 and humidity is a little low at 43%.
is is also under a spider farmer g3000 at 55% and 18" away
The start i had 1 gallon of tap water and drained 3 water bottles worth of water and replaceed it with bottled purified water to lower the ec

She’s got plenty of life in her, but she isn’t happy yet. The canopy is hanging and several leaves are paling between green veins, which looks like a magnesium uptake problem. I wouldn’t answer that by pouring in more Cal-Mag though. A wet or salty root zone can show the same thing even when the feed already has enough in it.

The medium is the missing piece. If that’s coco or perlite, 1.39 EC at 5.94 is a reasonable feed, but I’d check the drain EC and how often you’re watering before changing the mix. If it’s soil, 5.94 is too low to keep using and I’d bring it up around 6.4-6.6. The G3000 at 55% and 18 inches isn’t crazy, but 43% RH at 83°F is dry for a stressed plant. Get the humidity into the mid-50s and don’t raise the EC or add more Cal-Mag yet. What medium is she in, and what EC comes out the bottom?

It's in perlite in a hempy pot and I checked the run off the ec was 0.791. And ph 6.28. Before today I was just using pH test strips so the pH might have been a little high for a few weeks, I just got the General Hydroponics test kit and also the Vivosun pH and EC meters today

Welcome to the farm. Happy Growing 😊.
Im not expert, others will chime in who have grown mass and know info, to me ur ladies look a little on the yellowish side, need clearer pics, are u ph ing ur tap water and feed , ur ph should be around 6.2 whats all ur medium ie. Coco Coir , leaves droopy, how many weeks? Ur npk is ? U need more nitrogen for greener leaves

Edit. Others chat b4 me. EC runoff way to low shoud be around ? 1.4 maybe. How old?

I'm ph ing the water, it's in perlite in a hempy style pot, I got the clone about 2 months ago

Ok around 8-9 weeks, i have no clones experience, the plantt itself is wouldn't flip to flower yet, she needs fixing ur next feed get ur 10-20% runoff and note both ph and ec also add ur NPK values i need this info oh ya ur humidity? always low ? Temps to high at night ? U fans, ac ?

Ok I know a, b and calmag , start r and other i don't know
The other is from microbe life, a guy at the grow shop said use a litter throughout the whole grow to improve flavor, I used about 1/4 of what he said to use

Yes I never heard of these. I just checked them out ur ok 1 a little silica , the others some nitrogen and a little more potassium

Sorry needs info i check about hempy pot still confused?? do u have perlite in water in that pot or what ? U just say perlite any dirt, soil with perlite and what please.

A hempy pot or bucket is a type of passive hydroponics. It's a bucket with a hole drilled in the side about 1"-2" from the bottom so water will drain but the bucket has a small Reservoir because of the 2-in hold from the bottom

Oh wow ok , that's cool 😎 I got now.
The first month or so I had the clone I only had litmus paper ph test and I think I mightve been feeding with a high ec and ph, yesterday was the first feeding where I could actually measure the EC and pH. And like I said before I'm used to growing under metal halide or high pressure sodium and I used to use the Lucas formula so I didn't have to measure EC or pH like this

Most likely: 🟡 Iron (Fe) deficiency or iron lockout due to incorrect pH.

Possible contributing factors:

  • pH out of range (most likely)
  • Root stress/overwatering
  • Less likely: Magnesium deficiency
What to do:
  1. Check and adjust pH.
    • Soil: 6.3–6.8
    • Coco: 5.8–6.2
  2. Avoid overwatering.
  3. If pH is correct, provide a balanced nutrient solution with micronutrients (including iron).

Based on the photo, I'd rate it about 70–80% likely to be iron lockout rather than a true nutrient deficiency.

Hopefully yesterday's feeding corrected it, ill see in a few days

Here it is over the last 2 days, it's hard to tell but it looks like the color is evening out and the new growth doesn't look bad

Definate nitrogen deficiency, thats my opinion m8,I aint david attenborough or chad westport but defo could use a mist when lights out...wont do any harm.
