I grow under viparspectra mostly, I have had great success with their gear for quit some time now. I have everything through their 600watt to 2000watt I have the older “p” series, but I have seen folks growing under the new series they have out on some folks threads here. All fire.Whats a good led light to get? Im uk btw

Absolutely, any way to toss some anonymity into your purchase the better I would assume. You really can’t go wrong with them. I can flower successfully under p2000x2 and a p1500 over a 3x10ft space (sorry, I’m not good at it measurement conversion, kinda wish I was now) I can say, I am in a state that sure as hell isn’t friendly to cannabis, and I’ve ordered a TON of gear from Amazon. But, I have no clue how the laws are over there. I hope it isn’t fucking stoneage.I was thinking about buying 3 x viparspectra xs2000, in a few weeks, as I live in the UK, I am a little worried about buy £900 worth of grow lights on amazon, is it worth using gift vouchers etc.
I guess your right, Amazon.co.uk (UK site ) has 100's of grow items for sale, guess it has to be safe, there about 3 grow shops within a 10min driveAbsolutely, any way to toss some anonymity into your purchase the better I would assume. Well, in that case with licensing and medical, I’d say get at it, also, unless custom peppers and tomatoes are outlawed, I think you’re good sir.I guess your right, Amazon.co.uk (UK site ) has 100's of grow items for sale, guess it has to be safe, there about 3 grow shops within a 10min drive
Some people with medical problems can get a license to grow/smoke it in the UK.
That’s what my understanding was, they were scorchers, if you look at old grow room setups, the ducting for heat diversion was an entirely separate beast….My first grow I actually used a metal halide for the veg then swapped over to Hps for flower. Think I had a 600w setup with a hood the vents all the heat out into the attic through dome HVAC tubing and fans. I remember that thing getting hot as hell no matter what!
I can only imagine sir. Damn. Quite the rig.For about 4 years, I used 2 air cooled reflector(600w in each) in a line with a 5" rvk fan pulling the air though the reflectors
it was all sealed, so it pulled cool air in one end of the room, straight though the reflectors and out the other end of the room, this would remove 50% the heat, so it would have been more like growing under a leds.
The hoods would just cover 4ft(w) x 6ft(L), even light spread at 12" above the canopy, I still used a 6 rvk fan/filter but the temps and humidity where good.
because of the glass in the reflector and the airflow I would lose about 15-20% of the light but the trade was worth it.
They even brought one out that was water cooled, but a 600w hps would put out less than a 400w hps, so it never really hit the market.
They brought out a 1kw de hps (open hood) more effective but you needed it 4ft above the canopy, that was crazy, not many growers have 10ft high flower rooms.
live was not easy back then.
