Is my ppm correct for the stage im at

So I have enter the world of ppm reading after picking up a nitrogen deficiency in my girls

I have took a few readings and wondering if anyone can confirm this is OK

So I mix 2 5 litres worth pf nuits

1x 5 litre feed ppm was 662
1x 5 litre feed ppm wad 787

My run of was around 798 give or take.

So I'm running about the same as my nuits

Is this OK. If not how do I resolve the situation please

What type of media are you in and what are your watering practices?

Lioks like you have uneven watering.

Ppm used will largely depend on the media and any amendments used in it if any

I'm running 60 soil 20 perlite and 20 coco

I'm from the UK so water is varied.

I'm giving 2.5 litres until a run off.

I'm going to take a ec reading on next feed to see where it's at

Make sure you are saturating the entire media and you may want to look at a feed feed water type schedule. In soil i think you will see issues if you feed everytime

What size containers are they? 2.5l is what I would water in a 2 gal pot. If you get runoff from 2.5l in a 5gal, it's overwatered.

Just getting a bit down as it's starting to yellow.

So I have upped my biobizz grow feed to 6.5ml per 5 litres

Just trying to get my head around this ppm/ec reading. Haha.

Will get a ec reading in a few days when I water again and post. See what u guys think

Here's a update

Still got to hold of on the watering before I do a ec reading as they are still started from last runoff.

Hey guys start of week 5 in veg

Tool some ec readings on fed which was reading

Ec 1208 in 5 litre pf water
Ec1350 in 5 litre of water.

Then my run off was

Ec 1746 in 1 pot
Ec 1742 in 2pot
Ec 1740 in 3 por
Ec 1746 in 4th pot.


Not sure if these are anygood. Hoping that someone can confirm these.

Also nor sure My ec pen is working correctly as the reading I'm seeing online are 1.7, 1.8,1.9 etc etc

There are two scale micro and milisiemens. All you have to do is put a decibel Infront of the 3rd number. So 1208 is 1.2. if you have 800 it's 0.8.
Your out numbers aren't bad but creeping close to danger. I'd personally half feed or water only in hopes to drop it down a .1or .2.
I can't attest for if your using to much since your nutes ec will differ from other nutes and I've never used jacks.
But.... It does appear all plants suffering from same affliction seeming over watering, as aqua said, but could also be vpd or insufficient air exchange or all above.. what's your temp and humidity?

Ppm means nothing once you add soil to the mix… organics and ppm just dont mesh well

I thought I had to do that with the decimal point. and Will lower my feed in hoping to resolve this issue.

Hey guys.

So I was using

Biogrow 6 5ml per 5 litre
Bio heavan 9ml per 5litre
Acti Vera 9ml per 5 litre
Calmag. 1.5ml per 5litre.

Was told to just give it grow so I lowered it to 4ml per 5 litre and added 1ml of calmag.

Run off earlier was 1.7 still.

Hoping to see some changes in the next Run off

Did you check the PH of the runoff? It's more important.
