I have been growing for less than a year. I am still trying to learn when to harvest. I had a tuff time keeping this girl happy. Dealt with a chain of deficiencies. I think the culprit was high PH. I used a living soil and Gaia Green to top dress. Seems like she ate herself starting around week 7, but the buds seemed to turn out pretty good. Day 75 Gorilla Punch. Do you all think she is ready to chop?

The second plant is a Gelato, day 75, same soil mixture. I think she needs a little more time. What do you all think?
Thanks

First plant looks done but not because it's done it's dried out and other than age related tricome moving towards the cb side of things it has stopped stacking everything from the looks.
2nd plant needs more time and should benefit from it.
Opinions opinions......

I like #2 plus a mere handful of days because I need a little motivation and interest rather than couch lock. I like to have a smoke and fix something.

I was watering both plants on the same schedule. Do you think I was under watering the first plant? Leaves started going south around week 6/7 and I was never able to stop them

Well the presentation of the 2nd plant looks like a broad based deficiency not just nitrogen. Definitely could be pH related but living soil that was amended and allowed to start up should have kept the grow together.
If you want to I would recommend posting a question on living soil setup of the Trainwreck. We have several folks who hang there that do water only living soil and grow excellent weed.
I do organic fox farms and organic dr. earth nutes but I also amend my soil the entire grow with EWC and a soil conditioner.

A lot of guys who do living soil have on really nice test to see if you are going to succeed.
Can you dump a handful of red worms in the pot and will they live.

Thanks what fox farm are you using and how often do you amend your soil. I used fox farm happy frog when I started out, but I didn’t know enough about nutes and used synthetic fertilizer. I had bad ph problems. Still searching for my groove. I’m thinking about going back to Fox farm now that I know a little bit more. I would like to stick with organic nutes
