Also how does this look trim wise? This is my first outdoor grow. I chopped a little early as some of my other plants got bud rot.

Looks like a small mount of bud rot. It is commonly found just below the main kola where the stem first becomes visible between the buds.
Pull apart the bud and check the inside.
Discard any infected buds, or carefully trim all infected material and isolate them from health buds for monitoring.
Your trim looks just fine for the density of your flower.
Some more diligent indoor trimmers would make sure all sugar leaves had their tips cut flat.
