Is there a way to setup automated grow?

Is it possible to setup a grow room to run fully through vegetative and flowering stage with no human interaction?

If so, any recommendations on the type of equipment that would be required?

I've heard tell of a device that can do almost just that... called the Grow Bot. Read an article about em somewhere... they're like 3 grand though.

But why would you not want to be in the room working with your girls??? I don't understand that. My wife is always bitching at me for how much time I spend in there just looking at the plants... lol

Theoretically you could set up a room in Cal. and run it from Maine by laptop or desktop PC, it'll let you know everything including letting you "look" in on your girls remotely, dose/feed, send you text messages and alerts for spills low res.
