Can anyone ID this for a newb to growing?? Buddy gave me some seeds, Girl Scout Cookies and Gorilla Glue, but I mixed them up somehow. Hoping for good news...

Thanks. I'm leaning towards female as well, but wasn't totally sure. This one is grown outdoors since seed. Fingers crossed it's a lady.

To the novice, when you see the tops ballin, then you'll know. Some grower's can tell earlier.

i’m leaning female as the nodes are opposite of each other and males generally don’t grow that way, but why isn’t that plant showing her sex yet?
it’s definitely old enough.
i’d use a magnifying glass and search that plant for a hair/hairs anywhere or it could be a male.

Or the fool proof way is to wait until it starts to bloom and look for pistils or stamen

i think female, but over the next few days you will see a hair grow from it and you will be positive.

ok, so 4 or 5 weeks old? that is about the right time frame. wait just a coupld days and you should see white hairs coming out of those. maybe today!

Not sure if any of these help. Also, f'ing aphids are a pain. Found a whole bunch on the lowest leaves. I smashed them with my fingers.

Your first two pics show little balls. I’m 99% sure it’s a male and I’ve been growing for 20+ years. If you see little spikes at base of leaf stems with two hairs growing out of them, it’s female.
