Nah they're not ayAre your leafs crispy when you touch them
Cheers much appreciatedI’d hold off on any thinning till your buds get going, if ever, then maybe just the lower portion at the stem. Your plant needs that stored energy in those leaves to form those buds, why diminish that fuel? As the plant starts taking the energy then you’ll see the natural fade, where those same leaves, energy spent will turn yellow and die off, then they can be removed, imho...
As far as mice, that’s quite the stretch, probably thrips or some small grass hoppers, or grub/worms eating the leaves, they’re for you to find and remove. Put some sticky traps alongside where the damage is going on, you might snag a few of the little plant eating bugs. Also start a review of your practices where you add scoping (small loop) the underside of the leaves every time you tend your plants, watch for anything out of the ordinary, pay attention to any webbing you may find. Good luck.
I would say not a good idea. Can I just treat with a pesticide that's safe and wont stress them too much and not find out exactly what it was?
Just checked with lights on and off for bugs and couldnt find anything. About the same increasing damage as yesterday and haved ruled out mice as i have made sure there are no entrys for them ill put down some mice bait to be safe
Cheers for the reply I reckon ay! Will have to get a lense asapshit, by the size of those bites it might as well be a loose sloth in your growtent
if you're sure it's not mice check under the leaves and on the stems very closely with a macro lens- could be some minuscule pest invisible to the naked eye
Yeah I just had another real good look and I'm stumped ay, open to suggestions on how to treat or shall I just try ride it out like most other times I've had a pest in my grow roomHave you looked for droppings? Look below damaged leaf, they shit as they eat. Maybe pincher bugs or mealybugs. Just a SWAG.
With lights on have a peek at the soil. Maybe move soil around with a fork while using a flashlight. Cut up a sticky trap into small strips and lay across the soil.
