the sick plant has not made it.
Now the other plants are having a problem.
they have white spots on the leaves which appear to be powdery mildew.
It hasnt rained in two weeks. There has been warm temperatures with mildly cooler nights, low humidity and near constant light breeze. They have not been over-watered.
In the past I have seen these spots come and go without problem.
This time the leaves seem to be suffering.
Two questions:
1. Can this spread to the buds ?
2. Even if not, can this condition on the leaves effect in any way how the buds finish (potency, time, taste, etc.) ?

Moving forward and thinking about treatment I understand that baking soda should clear up the problem but am concerned because the buds will of course also get wet with the water/soda mix.
More questions:
1. is it even safe to smoke a bud that has been saturated with baking soda ?
2. If not, will this treatment effect the way the bud finishes (harm the pistils, decrease potency/resin, effect how long they take to finish, change the taste, etc.) ?
3. Is it better just to remove all the leaves since they are no longer really needed and should be at least somewhat removed anyway as the plants will breathe better, etc. ?
The pistils are still quite white and I`d say still have 2 weeks to go.
That being said, they still don`t have the amount of resin I`m used to at this point and VERY little scent.
