Is this glycerine suitable for tincture??

Now that I got this home I'm wondering if it's the wrong stuff...since it says soap on it and there are some additional ingrediants. In the how-to article in High Times there is a bottle pictured with soap written on it as well I believe...

No; look for kosher food grade.

I found pure glycerin at a health food store. The label suggests that it is appropriate for "moisturizing, emollient, low-glycemic sweetener, or base for herbal extracts".

It is commonly used in food processing.

We pick it up 5 gallons at a time cheeeep, from Glory Bee's in Springfield, Oregon.

That is a soap product made with glycerin in it. Hell glycerin is the last ingredient listed (means the least of it in the product).

I order NOW brand food grade.
