Guys I cured my buds about 4 weeks already. Almost every little stem got these things on it. I am worried if it might be mold. I read online that this are cystolithic trichomes. Bud smells and tastes great. Am I worried too much, or could this be mold? What do you guys think?

only coming from the stems? ive seen very similar on some plants with my led scope over the years. Not sure what it is, if its trichomes, or fungal. I never had the thought about it being potentially fungal though when i've seen it. Very curious now.

Although, if only from the stems, which is how ive seen it before, i do lean toward it being some form of elongated hairlike trichome. Theyre all over the stems in veg. Often in flower too. Some plants will grow glandular heads all the way down their stems in flower. Some flower, often equally dank, wont grow any on the stems lol.

It's only on the stems, when I'm searching for cystolithic hair or trichomes I'm finding similar looking images. Here are 2 more pics I made and the 2 with text on it I found online.

I should add, that I'm thinking it's been there since the beginning, but I am not sure. That's why I'm asking for your opinions

i would say its definitely that, some form of it, i just didnt know what to call it, and have never looked it up, ive seen it on flower that was plenty fine to smoke on though a few times.

This old swollen preflower on my mystery sativa has both kinds of trichomes.

Excess non mobile Calcium.

This is why most organic bud sucks. The plant soaks up all the soil calcium and dumps it into useless structure.

All the youtube gurus will tell you this calcium is mobile, while they all have manganese toxic weed from lack of Ca.. It's not mobile. Calcium isn't mobile.
Never heard of that. But you could be right, my water naturally got very much calcium.

From the pictures you posted, it looks like these little white hairs are cystolithic trichomes on the cannabis plant, not mold.

Mold usually has a more obvious mesh structure, and may be gray, black, or powdery white in color, and it is usually accompanied by a musty or damp smell, which is completely different from what you said about "taste and taste good".

So, it seems that you may be worrying too much! However, just to be safe, you can continue to observe for a while.
