She's only 4 weeks old and small. Some new looking vegetation coming from where it had previously been branching off

Is this a AutoFlower or Photo? What is the light schedule. But yes that is flowering.

I’ve seen some indicas show some pretty big pre flower. It could be pre flower if you are still in veg. If it’s an AutoFlower then she is probably flowering. Auto flower will trigger flower early if their roots ball up in a small pot. But Autos hate transplants and don’t recover from stress well.

It's an auto. Crème brulee.

I thought it was just thought a bit early as she's so small still

This one never got transplanted and started life in her final pot.

Bit of background though. This is my first grow. She went in the soil, got wetted up but didn't start. So dug up the seed, wet tissue, dark spot and the next day she started. Then she went back on the pot and took off!

I wonder if the initial placement and water triggered her to start but then she stalled and now she's running as if she's 8/9 days ahead of her actually growth. If that makes sense. What do you think?

Stress induced flowering would be my first thought. Just as the roots being bound and the plant feeling it has no more space to seek food, it triggers the AutoFlower to start.

Looks like 3-4 weeks is auto flowers flower trigger. You got an early pusher. I don’t grow auto flowers but it looks like Google says spontaneous flowering typically between 3-4 weeks.

I've let her medium dry out quite a bit at times and worth noting, first grow and I followed RQS step by step, it said miracle gro potting mix was decent.... They are the only people saying this. I wonder if, because I'm new and didn't put any perlite in this one, that the soil was too difficult for the roots to move through and as you suggest the plant feels it's filled the pot?

This grow is an experimental and learning grow more than anything and things like this happening, and this discussion (which I'm very grateful of your advice and input) are great learning tools.

I'm so exciting for my next grow with what I've learned so far from this one!

Miracle grow is typically bad for cannabis and I prefer rice hulls for aeration

I've come to the same conclusion. I really don't know why someone as reputable as RQS would recommend it 🙄

Next grow will be 2 or 3 cookies gelato in canna Coco coir 😁
There are some good growers on here, it will make life easier if you lean on the farm for help.
Happy growing ✌
