Its on my top 2 fattest stems 😭 do i need to get rid of them?

I need to remove 2 plants anyway. Any help is much appreciated!

I don’t think so. I have had a couple plants in my garden throw out leaves like that before and when it happens the whole branch can start to make multi-colored leaves like that. It didn’t affect the budding or growth and didn’t spread when I’ve seen it. I have heard from others though that it can caused bleached buds

It is, a very mild case of it. It’ll grow through that.

thanks yall. I still ended up taking them out. I see another plant with very minimal marks.

I have to keep 9 plants out of the 12 so i took out the 1 runt and 2 that had the most leaf discoloration

Im keeping 9 for flower. I hope they do well

I feel like it happened from working on the plant while smoking a Backwood. I did not know that if you touch or smoke tobacco products it can transmit. Be careful ya’ll. Tobacco products are dirty.

Gotta grow my own tobacco next? Hahahah

🥴

I would lean towards it being genetically imprinted, main thing with even slight cases, is to not use the same trimmers on other plants without cleaning them. This will keep any transfer from occurring. It was a very mild case, when it’s like that, you can very easily grow through the infection 75% of the time. Proximity to other plants is not a big deal unless you don’t clean your tools. There are deformities a plenty that pop up on cannabis leaves, but this one? It has the ear marks of it. I have had it a few times from seed.

Yeah i use 10:1 bleach to water mix to clean my scissors and I do try to be as sanitary as possible, but my tent is in my kitchen so it can be difficult.

The plus side is I get some insane co2 ppms so I hopefully wont have to buy a source come time for flower.

Kitchen tent eh? Delicious!!!😜 food and plants all at arms reach. I’m surprised this hasn’t been thought of sooner…..you know, I know there are a lot of folks who do it, but I never really used co2. I never really felt the need.
