These were taken right after an adjustment. GMO autoflower. Day 25 from sprout. 8th day since the very first signs of pistils. Im in the grow room multiple times a day. Basically if theres enough new growth to readjust the wires and spread her out more i do it. Ive done a lot of reading and watching videos but this is only my second run so I still question myself. I figure stretch will end around Nov 14th. Should I continue training until stretch is over or is it better to let them grow vertically during stretch too? Also as the title says is this too much training?

I am at day 27 and started training 2 days ago.

The only thing I see that I would not do is plants in the dirt. Other than that if you have a plan to move the tops where you want carry on!

I didnt write down the day i started training but it was early. As soon as the third node was developing she got bent 90 degrees pretty much.

These are a strawberry cheesecake auto growing beside the GMO. Sprouted 10/10 and first pistils 10/28

If they were mine i'd stop and let them grow upward. I leave a bit more space for upward growth not pin down the heads of the bud sites. I pin them down just below where the flower begins down the branch abit more. I do releash my tie down after the stretch but that's my way. I'm going less is more with auto flowers cause i've trained them too hard and they stay too short for my liking. Photoperiods don't skip a beat doing hard training but that twisted up one you got with them being bent over other branches Pic 1&2 i'd leave it alone.

Yeah this adjustment was sketchy to me. My thought process was that with 2ish more weeks of stretch I could form a few more mid tier bud sites and still end up with a good balance of top colas across the whole plant. Not sure if thats how it works. Thats the impression Ive gotten from my research atleast. I lack experience and have limited knowledge about growing cannabis so Im open to all advice.

Hey man it's how we learn, you'll see and figure it out. Dang photoperiods i can bend and twist those pull them every which way. But these finicky auto plants man they take a dump when i do that to much.

Good to know. :)
I'm gonna haveta do some of that training on my autos too, eventually.

Why not? Same seeds from my last grow which was 2 plants. they got pistils day 20 and 22. My understanding is some auto genetics flower early.
Maybe the continuous lst is too much stress and sends them into flower early.

I saw it on YouTube the more root space (pot size and soil porosity) the longer the veg time before flowering with autos.

The size of them also suggests over four weeks growth, occasionally I've had a preflower a touch early but flowering no unheard of or logically we would grow little else πŸ‘

Im an old man with no reason to lie. Not here looking for clout or trying to get over on anyone. I try to rough document my grows for better results. Im of the mindset that if im going to put in the time and money I want to get the best results. After those little plants from the first grow I scoured the internet for more info. My results are from Mr canucks gaia green organic living soil method and this video I found after my last grow.
