I would ,,,, I would just be REALLY careful and fully understand the process , and make sure proper ventilation is going on :D

But yeah if anything did go wrong and the police find out its a felony charge :( Just wanna make sure your fully informed before ya do anything :D

What if I just suck up what condenses on the stove using a turkey baster or something like that? Because when I brought the rice cooker inside, quite a lot of alcohol condensed on the griddle cover. :o

Could do that but its also gonna have water in it.. Alcohol is hydrophilic so its gonna attach its self to water asap.. How much depends on the air around the cooker ect ect.

here's my soxhlet. It's running under vacuum. The temp in the boiling flask is 109°f. The condenser is tied to the blue swamp cooler screen to keep the water cool. This system can run 24 hours a day with no problems. I made all the glass ware in the photo. Last short run I did tested 62% thç in a gas chromatography machine. This batch will be stronger.

Check this out.........

Also check the golds guide to cannabis alchemy, it has some ideas on condensation retrapment.
wow..that's a remake of the ISO machine of the 70's!
Honestly makes a crappy dirty product..like the hash oil of the 70's..lol. I have an old ISO2 from 1971..it's pretty much just a sculpture at this point.

You guys should leave the Isopropyl for making topicals. I use strictly QWET with winterization. If you can afford it build or buy a kitchen still. The biggest issue with the process is finding a warmer that you can dial proper temps and heating an oil bath to be consistent 250* temps for for purging and decarboxylation at the end.
Homemade type.. http://skunkpharmresearch.com/alcohol-reclaim-still/
Handmade for sale.. https://www.etsy.com/listing/155289...zcXh0myJ_uZlEIE4LL3rTTc1lXGDjan5EkBoChhvw_wcB

Lots of examples out there..or you can boil off the alcohol outside, is always a choice..but wasteful.
@Seamaiden has the right idea..but I'd stay away from those reflux machines and those water distillers if ya want a better finished product.

Ones just as bad as the other up here in Canada. For some reason our authorities frown any type of distillation. Even with the medicinal use of our sacred herb here in Canada, all edibles and oils and extractions are still very much illegal.
