Issue with 315w cmh light turning off on me

Hello everyone and than you for reading,

I have a 315w cmh light and lately it has been turning on 15mins late, then I plug the ballast in/out and it turns on again for the rest of the night. This is very strange so I a curious if anyone has a fix? Is it the ballast, bulb?

Also if it means anything I just had a power outage in the house a few days ago.

Did you try a new timer?

Ballasts can turn itself off if there is a short (protection mode). Turning on-off at specific times is a timer issue.

Try using a new timer and or a different plug and see if that fixes the issue.
