Beautiful plant! Studley stalk! Hope that rot doesn’t cause problems!the outdoor plants are starting to flower finally.some rot at the base of the stem there, doesnt seem to be affecting the plant. ill just gonna tape it up next time i visit. cali blues looking good to. is ahead of the others in flowering.

stem!? That's more like a tree trunk than a stem.
I took some cuts off a sassafras tree. Hope I can get them to root. If so.. I'm gonna make some sasparilla in a couple years!
thanks chuck. yeh i hammered a nail through the same plant last year. on the last few weeks, and it actually put on more weight id say. where my best yielding plant. gonna try tape it up, to stop the water getting in the base there. hows the freak plants doing chucky smelling good.Beautiful plant! Yeah Man! Back in the 60's they made it really hard to get the sassafras trees. The sassafras oil contains a lot of safrole. Native peoples considered it medicine, so the government banned it... Basically just boil the roots with some berries and sugar.
