Nope lol it’s why I’ve always grown indoors, none of that inspection shit here but i did one outdoors this year, my neighbor does 6 monsters every year I’ve always just preferred indoors I did a single outside this year and it went wellGlad you passed. I can't even imagine submitting my grow plans or waiting to see if I'm compliant and will pass an inspection. I wouldn't want any of those individuals knowing my business. Same reason I would never get a medical card and give up my right to carry (if you even register) Absolutely not.
What state are you in? Seems like insanity to me.
Again, very happy you passed.
I'm in good Ole California.Glad you passed. I can't even imagine submitting my grow plans or waiting to see if I'm compliant and will pass an inspection. Not all states require gun registration. You did right, Philly! If I could just register and become legal, I would do it in a heartbeat! Back in the day, I had cops, turning my place, upside down on, unrelated matters! Calling in all my guns! Luckily, they weren’t stolen! This was before they even had to be registered! If you’re a law, Abiding Citizen. There’s no reason to not have them registered! Then throw an illegal grow on top of it! Fines, confiscations, and restrictions, can add up to a pretty penny! And years of watching other people, shoot guns! You did, right, Philly! IMO! He’s in Cali! I guess I got tired of shooting myself in the foot! Making life hard for myself!
"Always best in my opinion to try and get along."Always best in my opinion to try and get along. Usually the guy doing that type of inspection for compliance doesn't like to be a dick. Just needs a job and trying to do his job to keep the entity off his ass and get past you with the least amount of friction.
Compared to how it was trying to grow when it was illegal, this is no sweat. Sucks, but whatever.

I could use a discount on my home insurance! I don’t know if it’s been legal to grow in the state since 96! I know it’s been legal to possess and use since 96! Maybe it’s legal to grow indoors everywhere. But I know it’s not legal to grow outdoors everywhere in Calley!I get a yearly inspection. Inspections begin in late Spring and continue through the year until everyone’s been checked. They used to be more hard ass, would just show up at your house one day and didn’t even allow you to get into compliance if you failed - they just fined you. Now you have 45 days to remedied the situation which makes it less stressful.
It’s done by the Vegetation Management Unit (VMU) because we’re in a VHFHSZ. Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone, and the inspectors are the fire department. It’s been legal to grow weed in the State since 1996, so no one gives a hoot about the weed.
Surprisingly it gives me a discount on my home insurance.![]()
Well “legal” might not be the right word. Technically we were just “exempt” from criming.I could use a discount on my home insurance! I don’t know if it’s been legal to grow in the state since 96! I know it’s been legal to possess and use since 96! Maybe it’s legal to grow indoors everywhere. But I know it’s not legal to grow outdoors everywhere in Calley!
