sdgrower, thanks, this is the kind of advice I look for here. I've been wanting to work with a few supplements but on a gradual basis. I don't mind the cost so much as long as its effective.

When you do grams per gallon... are you including the gallons in your rez to the equation?

yes. If my res is 100 gallons and I say 2.5 grams per gallon, then I am adding 250 grams total.

Cap. I'm still on my original bags of Jacks and that's after getting all my friends to try it.

I've had really good success with taste, quality, and cure. Star Dawg came back at 23%, White Fire at 21%, BUT I'd like to work on the yield a bit more. Right now I'm just using the two part with epsom salts, super thrive, seaweed (fresh water friday), and worm compost when they givith. Due to an upgrade with the AC I can now run Co2 with the sentinel. I keep the room at a steady 77 degrees from start until finish.

Should I try adding MOST or the Bloom Booster?
I'm running mainly 8 week strains except for Star Dawg that I let go 9 weeks.

Hey cap what do you think about the Veg+bloom have you tried this yet? I'm gonna be running this on my next grow with the killer results I have seen people getting I am sold the only thing I think I want to add is the hammerhead/moab combo but i'm still not sure might go with just the vegg+bloom.

Oh and I Love the bennies you sent me they killed the xtreme azos and mycos products sorry i didnt get this in a thread I had some crazy shit go down in dec or I would of here is some of the root pics I was gonna post sorry i didnt get them up sooner.

Well I am not sure. It sounds like you are pretty well dialed in. With the CO2 you will get a better yield. Dont forget to go to at least 82 or so for the co2 to e effective. I have some plants right now at 90 and they are blowing up.

The blossom booster... I am just experimenting. So far it turned my blooming plants around bigtime, but I only started using in a couple weeks ago, and before that I had big lockout from mixing my own salts.

here is a pic of the seedlings I started that are getting the jacks from beginning to end. Right now they are at 1.4 EC, and I don't plant on going higher than 2.0. At some point I would like to have my room doing side by sides (its perfectly set up for that), but for now I nee to run more than one strain for the collective.

Hey for the MOAB... check out the label that el cerebro posted. its basically MKP MAP and B-1


oh yeah here is a picture of jacks + bennies. no additives. 6" cube. recirculating top drip. 20 seconds on, 1 hour off. There was all kind of fungus growing on the top of the cube. It killed all the algae that was there before I started adding tea.

Hey cap whats happening.I can't wait to get this year started. Last year jacks kicked ass and my veggies have yielded crazy even with the hot dry weather. I'll be watching this thread.

that pic was at 21 days or so from rooted cut. They went in to the MPB after that, and I flipped too small. Im running coco/hydroton now, and the plants are blowing up just the same, even with the 90 degree heat i have had.

Damn I figured with a rootmass like that they would blow up. I had great results in coco with the bennies they rocked. Do you think I'll have a problem running them with the Vegg+bloom as long as I feed them with carbs and sugars like i always do since its an all chem nute and i used to use a reall comprehensive chem/organic nute regiment ? I'm tired of buying a 100 different nutes and really like the results i have seen with vegg+bloom and its cheap compared to what i used to spend 100 or 5lb is cool with me i know its more expensive than jacks but i dnt want to mix my own just want to measure out the amount mix and go i think I'm really gonna like the kiss method and I'll add the bennies every fresh watering i give them like i used to you think that will be ok?

I have no opinion since I have never used vegg+bloom... it cant be any more synthetic than jacks. just make sure you add in that molasses to keep the carbon up.

Ok ya i figured since it worked with jacks it will work with the Vegg+bloom hell if you hit up their site they'll send you a 150 gram sample the stuff is really quite amazing especially for an all in one powdered nutrient. Vegg+bloom also contains many orgainc compounds and is not an all chem nutrient from what i have just found out. It contains amino acids, cytokinns, humics, and contains the best and the most bio-active fulvic isolate on the market as well as plenty of sillica in plenty of forms and a great cal mag ratio. I'm sold on this stuff cap i deff think you should check it and tell me what you think since you have a lot of knowledge when it comes to these things any way thanks for everything i really appreciate stay frosty bro late why is my txt so small all of a sudden??

Got some plants dialed in now using jacks at 3.0 and 2.0 of calcium nitrate and .5 grams of epsom using homemade sulphuric acid as ph down. They are growing in double stacked rockwool hugo blocks and are fed drain to waste. Im working on rockwool tests with a drain to waste set up. The plants seemed to respond to the drain to waste.

Looking to switch over to your new formula with a mix of your bennies to see the results.

I will post a few pictures soon of some freakshow jacks buds and some older pictures of some root masses.
