Never heard of it. Here's what I found though for other people to reference:

I used Jacks for 2 years and plan on using the rest of what I have left on my front lawn !! Recently I started using Plant Prod 7-11-27 with great success, it's the exact same mix as Jacks as far as I can tell, Jacks/Plant Prod x .67 = Calcium Nitrate. It looks to me like Jacks and Plant Prod are targeting the same end results but getting there via different routes as far as ingredients to their nutes goes. My plants don't like the Jacks but love 7-11-27, if you throw in some grotech potassium silicate they really love it. No clue really why the difference other than, I believe JR Peters uses a lot more sulphur in their mix and maybe just to push the PH down similar to AN PH perfect. The PH before adjusting after mixing in Jacks is about 5.8 and Plant Prod 6.4 that is what I think the difference is ( to much sulphur for my particular plants ) ???
