A longer, "wetter" and colder dry before you hit the jars is going to break down the most chlorophyll and give you the smoothest smoke. That hay smell will show up in the finest genetics grown in the best possible way if not dried properly. After a few days at 55% to get things going I bump up to 65% for about 10 more days. By the time my buds hit jars they only have to get burped once a week max. All this at 65° to 70°

Curing tips? Buy a humidity meter, 20 bucks and takes all the guess work out. I bought a few Caliber III was the brand, well worth the moneys. Bump since '95 if you keep temps down in the drying room and where your tubs/jars it will slow it down, helping to prevent over drying. DO not over-dry at first, it is of utmost importance!!! The key is keeping the humidity high enough for long enough for bacteria to break down all the chlorophyl. 60's until you get some killer smells and then keep it capped. Never below 55%. The ones with white pistles are not done yet....also next time if you stop feeding a bit earlier and do a flush or two you will get a nice color change indicating the lack of N in your plants(ideal).

I taper off nitrogen half way through flower down to zero N over a week or two. Then just straight water for the last two weeks, paired with drop in temp 10° makes some pretty fall colored leaves.
