How we doin’ guys..

Started 4 Chem de la Chem fem seeds a few weeks ago. I ordered some Jaws genetics Lime OGEE fem seeds and popped those a few days after the other ones.

Running an L.E.D light, as you can tell from the picture. Grow medium is BuilsASoil 3.0, had great results so far. I haven’t fed anything yet, just PH’d water. Temperature is about 71f.

Any tips or constructive comments are welcome. Will be updating regularly.

Took 2 clones each from the 4 Chem de la Chem plants I have.. 6/8 seem to be doing “okay” after 4 days.

I do have a heat mat and keep humidity high with a dome.

Chem de la Chem clones seem to be ok after a week, still can’t see any roots poking out.

Ran into some issues with the Lime OGEE plants, noticed the fabric pots never dried out compared to the plastic ones that have the Chem de la Chem. Will be translating to 2 gallon plastic pots later. Will hold on feeding for at least 6 days.

So this is probably the one that got it worst, fabric pot was extremely heavy, roots looked skinny and fragile when I transplanted. It was still wet, not good since I watered them 4 days ago. Plants are going on 4 weeks.

Pictures are of the same plant, before and after transplanting them

Just started flowering the Chem de la Chem, the Lime OGEE aren’t ready yet. Still recuperating from the transplant, looking way better, though.

Running a SunSystemPro 1000w HPS (dimmable), have it set at 600w. Dialing down the R/H and temperature

Will start Iguana Juice Bloom in a few days. Noticed it got discontinued, debating on switching to Athena for my next run.

Lime OGEE seem to be thriving after the transplant from those dreadful fabric pots, safe to say roots are doing way better.

Might flip them this weekend.

5 of the 8 Chem de la Chem clones made it pretty nice, I gave my brother 2 and I kept 3 of one of them, they look great. Have them in ocean forest fox farm, small led light. These clones are of the smelliest one, stems have a gassy smell

The Lime OGEE plants have fully recovered, it seems. Will start to flower this weekend.

Didn’t get a chance to snag a picture of the Chem de la Chem, had a bit of an issue with the digital light timer I bought from Harbor Freight, would turn off all of a sudden, caught it the first day it happened. Ordered a different timer off Amazon, it’s digital the brand is Woods, hopefully I have better luck. I didn’t have “buy multiple timers” on my “newbie bingo card”.

Also learned I had to water more often under an HPS light, Chem’s didn’t look too happy; glad I caught the timer and watering issues early.

Timer arrived earlier today, let’s see how it holds. I’ll be connecting just the HPS light, like I did with the other one.

Quick update on the Chem de la Chem:

Plants aren’t looking too happy in the tent. I’m going to have to replace the HPS I have, too hot, debating to buy a used Gavita L.E.D or new one.

I tried everything, from exhaust fan to added vents, no luck. I’m gonna play it safe and switch the light.

Gonna try these out once I get this room dialed in, have some 40 gallon rain barrels that I’ll be using as stock tanks. So far I’ve spent about $120 on veg nutrients and $25 for that Iguana Juice for flower, on one run, this box was $77 and can make several “gallons” out of it. Im aiming for something cost effective that my plants like, I’ll be updating on this soon…

Chem de la Chem are doing way better, ran into some heat issues with the HPS a couple days ago.

Switched over to the Gavita 1700e, this thing is a beast!! Fit inch-perfect in my tent. Temperature is a steady 80 F, humidity between 46-49%

Still feeding Iguana Juice, will finish the bottle before starting the Athena Pro line I got a few days ago.

Just finished mixing these, will do the stock tank shortly.

Easy to mix, made smaller cut on bag made it easier to poor in container. This should save me some money on nutes.

Had a veg L.E.D for some time now, it was pulling 1000watts a little too much for my liking. So I'll be putting this one in today, it's a 200watt L.E.D, this will be my veg light from now on.

Had great success cloning both in hydro and soil, have 4 different phenos of Chem de la Chem, I have a favorite in flower currently, looks like a real keeper.

I add Epsom Salt, plants like it under the L.E.D, it does leave that white residue on leaf.

I got the Lime OGEE in the center, just removed a male so I have 3 females left of the Lime.. The Chem de la Chem are on the edges, one of the 4 loves the Cal mag... Super gassy smell from all of them.

Humidity is 44%, temp is 81F, been feeding Athena Pro all under the the Gavita 1700e

I also just started some FPOG F4, first time trying the grow plugs on seeds. Got 5 freebie seeds.

I had terrible germinating rate with some OBS gear on paper towels so trying this.
