Hey guys, anyone grow Josey’s cut of GG4 before? Curious what it likes, doesn’t like. Also, how’s the smoke? Flavor, type of high etc.

Thanks.

Sorry not sure, gg4 is finicky though

It was finicky on transplant into a different (calcium) based soil & nutrient line. Evened out and grew well, although seemed to burn through mag in veg. Smell is that sour chem, diesel, and a unique type of seafoam green sweetness. Incredible plant, fantastic all day high. If you wait until 75 days you get a chocolateyness that comes through more.

I did a 12 plant phenohunt of Mycotek's GG4 F⁶ that Josey did say was as close to the original as anything else out there and there definitely is a chocolaty diesel smell to the flowers. It's mostly diesel for flavor, but certainly has a different smell to it than most fuel terp profiles. The chocolaty flavor comes out a bit in the vaporizer, but not really in a J. Haven't tried turning any of it into concentrates yet to see if that chocolaty flavor comes out more.

I find this strain to be quite hardy. I had some plants in a recent run that didn't do so great, but the GG4 and MAC powered right through. I would say the high is quite strong, pretty even hybrid. Super frosty strain for sure. Here's a couple pics of the best flowers I've gotten from a couple of runs now.

63-70

I'm usually right in-between but if you take it past 70 can pull out a chocolatey type profile. I've gone 75 and it doesn't seem to change much between 70-75.

Most likely will never see it in any dispensary. Even the dispensaries in towns where the cut is everywhere... the dispensaries have random crap they slap GG4 name on. But the real cut is everywhere, most passed around cut that I know of. What state are you in?
