Jumping Back In! Not So New Setup

There is still no sign of the Gelato from Crop King. I will keep the first cup around for a few more days just in case. Decided to crack another.

The second Gelato has now cracked a tap.
When I checked on it after 24 hours, it had a tail about 1/8” long. I decided to leave it for another 24 to get it a little stronger.
It is now about 3/4” long.

Into the solo we go.
I hope this one comes up easily.

I had finally given up on the first Gelato.
Figured I would do some forensic investigation to see wtf.
I carefully removed soil to look for my not-so-magic bean.
I found it. It was sprouted under the soil. It seems it was stuck under a dense bit of dirt.
It was yellowish and looked kind of soggy. It was also trying to grow sideways.
I gently stood it up and recovered it.
It is now green and I think it might make it.

The Gorilla Breath is progressing.
Debating whether to upsize the pot yet. Maybe another week.

Amherst and Sapphire are loving this light.
56 days in soil with just ph’d water and enzymes.
Going to give a slight nute boost soon to give them a nudge.

The second Gelato has sprouted.
Definitely a much stronger bean.
It’s already staring at the light.
This is about 36 hours in soil.
Revives some faith in Crop King.

I’m glad I started the second one. This one is not looking promising.
It can hang around for now. We’ll see how it behaves.

The lights have been very close to the tops of the Sapphire Scout. Right now I’d say it’s only 4 inches above. There has been absolutely no sign of light or heat stress.
I gave them a watering of early growth feed. It was perfect timing it seems. The very small lower leaves that are not even visible under the canopy are beginning to yellow. It’s been about 60 days of just ph’d water. I think they have used up what was in the soil to start with.

Even with the light so close, the internodes of the Sapphire are long. Don’t quite understand that.
She would probably be huge outdoor.
The Amherst SD has tighter growth. She also has a nice stalk.
I can say that she doesn’t like to be topped. The points where I did are slowed and small.

Well...
A little bit of heartbreak today.
Look at that gorilla. Looking good!
Decided to repot her today. Thought I would do it early.
Wait for it...

Nooooooo!
The exact moment of agony.
The soil shape broke in half taking the roots with it. First time I’ve had that happen.
It hurts.
I did plant the top half but I will be very surprised if it survives.
Fuck me

This is 18 hours later and it is still standing strong.
I must say I’m surprised.

Yes. Humboldt has it stated on their website that against their will they are unable to complete any orders. It’s been posted on there for quite a few months. Must have something to do with legalization issues. Just guessing.
