Hey, anyone who knows wanna weigh in here... What's the minimum photoperiod to stay in veg. Cannabis Encyclopedia says they'll veg as long as they've got 16hrs of light but I know that's bullsh*t cause I've moved em to the garden at 14 3/4 hrs with no issue. I want to put em outside around the 18th of this month for 13 1/2 hrs but was wondering if I should wait till the 29th-30th for 14hrs.

I think it has to do with the CHANGE in lighting. Example, move from 18/6 to to 13 1/2 you will force flowering. Move from 15/9 to 13 1/2 and they won’t. If you gradually shorten the amount of light to get as close to your goal as possible is the best way.

I'll be up-planting the biggest ones to 1gal smartpots today. The biggest will also be moving into the tent. Once they're in the tent I'll identify each of them for you.

Just unleashed a bowl of my custom "Killer Sh*t" blen-d on the old wind-sacks. Nothin much better than bein baked like a tater on a-slightly drizzley, somewhat foggy, a bit nip chilly, or "fogizzilly" spring morne.

I backed the light off about 5% and they went batsh*t. They love it around 65w per bulb. I might keep on movin down to 60% and see how they react.

The difference between this morning...

...and this evening.

I have most of the pots ready 24/32. Will put the 200w fixture in the tent for the fast movers and leave the 65w in the closet for midgets.

The little hatchlings I can leave in Solos for now, it all works out.

I've never had them grow this fast before but this is the first year that I really understand what they need. It's made my plants and I both much happier. This'll be a fantastic year. Theyll be spread out across outdoor, indoor, and hoop-house. It's gonna be a great learning experience, especially in time and money management.

Grow Log 04/17/19 #2 (closet & tent beanlings/veg-lings)

Up-planted 24/32 plants.

The 24 went into the tent with the 200w CXB3590 fixture.

The rest stayed in the closet with the 65w CXB3590.

It finally feels like this grow has started.

That's OK as long as what time and money I do have can cover the grows. I'm looking at 5 possible separate harvests so I should have plenty to trade.

Running the 200w CXB fixture in the tent outside using solar most of the day. When the third 100ah battery gets here it should be able to run completely on solar power without having to be switched over to grid power in the morning and evenings. By my calculations with 5x 100ah batteries I'll be able to run the single CXB alongside it even after the upgrade to it's full 100w-120w capability. That'll be enough for 8-10 plants when the growroom is finished and there's enough clearance. The rest of the girls will be split between the garden and mountain grow.
