This is in reference to my grow located here: Purple Punch Feminized Indoor Grow #2

This grow, I'm only growing one single plant in my tent. It's currently 3.5 weeks into flower and when I went to check up on it this morning, I found a dozen nanners and even a couple (still closed) male flowers. I promptly picked them all off, but it's hard to see deeper inside the canopy so I guarantee there are still some remaining. My last Purple Punch grow took a full 10 weeks before it was ready to harvest, meaning this girl still has another 6-7 weeks to go.

My question is, if I keep growing this plant, is it just going to be completely full of seeds? As I mentioned before, it's the only plant I have going right now so I'm not concerned about it pollenating anything else. I'm thinking about letting it finish and then just doing a real good clean up inside the tent, I just don't want to waste the next month and a half trying to finish her up just to have her so full of seeds I can't even smoke the buds. I got a couple of seeds in my first grow, but I didn't notice those nanners until about week 8 or so of flower and only found about 6-8 seeds in the entire harvest. What's some experienced growers opinions on this?

I'm kind of bummed because this plant has been growing beautifully so far. I don't mind some seeds due to error on my part, I'm guessing it could have been caused by the stressful first transplant that yellowed the entire plant despite the fact it fully recovered. That, and quite possibly from the defoliation I did as well since this is my first time attempting defoliation (beyond picking off dying leaves as we progress through the flowering stage). I'm just hoping it won't have so many that it makes it unsmokable. Especially since I just grow for personal use and just try to get enough yield to get through to the next harvest so I don't have to buy bud from my local dispensary. I'm thinking just letting it go shouldn't really hurt since she's growing solo and I don't have to worry about pollenating any other plants.

There’s a lot that could happen that you did or did not see.
Look over your plant flowers and see if your calyx hairs are still white.

When you pollinate within a day you hairs will look like this ( start to redden)

In some cases leaves tapping on the hairs will redden them but most of the time there Snow White.

I did notice that there were a couple of hairs starting to brown that didn't appear to be touching any leaves. We're only talking about a dozen or so hairs out of thousands, but I'm assuming that means those buds were unfortunately successfully pollenated?

There's no easy answer to your question. In general, if you have pollen in your tent, you'll get seeds. How many seeds depends on how much pollen, and how much of the pollen was viable. If the nanners or pollen sacs aren't open yet, I'd spray the plant down with water, pick off all the nanners/sacs, and run it. If they're open, and especially if you can see pollen, I'd be tempted to start over.

Could you try to de-seed the flower then wash it into a concentrate like bubble hash? I’m new to this so genuinely curious

Sure, or you could just smoke it like we did in the 80s after deseeding it using a sleeve from a Blue Oyster Cult LP.
Absolutely lol … i’m 46…grew up on brown swag that came in a block, I haven’t become a snob or anything but I do enjoy the flowers of today to the 7 grams ofsticks stems and seeds that made up a zip back then!

Most weren't open yet but some were. I could see a little bit of pollen that came out of some nanners on a few of the leaves. Since water essentially renders pollen inviable, would it be a good idea to just spray it down a little either way? What are some disadvantages to spraying down the plant with water?

Nothing in particular. Plants are used to being rained on. You might do it after lights on, so they don't stay cold and wet as long.
