Just Haze (White Choco /Silver / Amnesia )

Hey people, fired up my old grow cabinet for the first in a long time!

Switched out the old dimlux HPS and bought an AC Infinity set ( controller, lamp , dehumid , heater , fan , sensors ) and germed some old seeds Soma Amnesia Sensi Silver and Amsterdam gen White Choco.

This is my first time with led so no co2 or anything special.

Week 2 12/12 1week visible flower had a bit of thrips.

Mixed 10ml Neem Oil with yucca and 0,5liters of water, i also put some of those yellow traps.

Did some extra binding with bindclips also i changed the lights because 320 watt was to little and i had to add extra heat with lights on this seemed a nono to me so i switched to a mars hydro sp6500

Thrips seems gone now.

Plants seems to really enjoy the new lamp, Stable temperature now.

Day 25 12-12 day 18 visible flowering.


Pretty stoked how everything is going so far, 7 weeks to go from now(i hope).

All 3 strains are behaving as they should, 0 ''claw'' signs so far and only the Amnesia has some tiny burned tips.

Overall light is 600-700 PAR, considering to increase to 800 in a few days.

Temperature is 25-26 degrees light on and 22 with lights off, will increase night temp when fully flowering.

Still only on 50% BAC bloom. Watering 1,5liters every other day.

Today i did one last bending on the White Choco Haze (Far left) to get the canopy nice and equal.

Amnesia haze (2 on the right) are going a bit slower then the silver and white choco but thats fine, they will be in flower for 2-3 weeks longer.
I have to adjust the watering a little because the amnesia stays to wet compared to the others, also they will get plain water for the next week.

Adjusted lamp height untill 800 - 850 PAR.

Changed night temp from 22 to 24 because the plants took to long to wake up after lights were on.

Quick question how big is your pots and how did you notice the thrips and you think they came with the dirt?

3gal pots , and if you've had thrips once you see them by a mile.

If your lowest leaves look like this you know they are everywhere if you see one little crawler there are 1000's
If the lights turn off wait 15mins and go look they are very active right after lights off.


I do not think they came with the dirt (plagron promix), i dont grow in a tent so if you have them once you will never get fully rid of them. they will hide in every little hole there is.

Thanks. I think I maybe also had them once. look a bit familiar but I don't have any now. Maybe they died cos i took 2 - 4 years break.
I looks like you're on top of it and notes taken here about neem oil treat.

I use around same mix for gnats in dirt but with some dishwash in also

Soooo i declared WAR on the thrips this week after seeing yet again some adult thrips.

And this time no fooling around every plant got 4 colonies of killer mites, and i watered them with nematodes.

Now i have to wait 2 weeks and then i will cover the top layer soil with diatomaceous earth so there wont be a living being will crawl past.
Big lesson for the next round is to take care before they can pop up again.

Only got a dark photo now nothing much going on might do some palm tree ash top dress this week

Very stoked to see that the thrips population is going instinct :)!

So far not much going on, fruiting seems over and stretch is almost zero.

Did a topdressing today with palm tree ash and seaweed powder. (PK and beneficial bacteria),

Filled the co2 tanks today 2x20kg just to find out my co2 controller died.

Will not enrich co2 saturation this round, looking into a new controller my AC ai+ controller has no climate inputs left so i need to get another AC controller just for co2 sensor.

Any other ideas are welcome.

I got an idea. Jailbreak the shit out of that AI controller to get more input. Jailbreaking is starting to be the shit because they made it illegal for our safety of course.

what will jailbreaking it provide me never heard of this

It can remove limitations in the software of your device but it can also un brick a device that the company decided to break as unfortunately is becoming far to normal a practice for big companies.

Jailbreaking can be more things like stopping a device from reporting to the internet ( spying ) or simply give the functions back you once bought and paid for

I don't know if it is a software limitation in your case but it sounds at first like one
