Can I strip my cannabis with 91% isopropyl alcohol. Put it in.
My Baker, add water to still off the alcohol and get the oil.

I'm not sure I follow your question, but just in case you're talking about infusing isopropyl alcohol...it's poisonous. Don't drink it.
I'm talking about washing the Bud. Getting the Try cones off, put it into my. Flaskadd water. Distill off the alcohol?
And the oil should sit on top of the water. Can they collect the oil? Or should I just steam Distill. it?

But could I still use the ever clear? Put it into my beaker and still off. The alcohol with water still in it so I can get the gold oil.

We use Everclear 190 for our tinctures. I've been thinking about how to recover the alcohol by using a still. It sure seems possible. Considering how much Everclear costs, it seems worth a try.

I'm trying to see if anybody has used to ever clear, put it in a beaker. Add water and steal it alcohol off. So that the oil is nice and gold.

We make tinctures, but it might be similar to what you're doing. My take on it is it's a matter of how much it's reduced. That is, the alcohol will evaporate until it's removed from heat. We use different methods for making our tinctures and my wife does most of the cooking. We do use a beaker for one of our methods. We put the solution (ground bud infused with Everclear and strained through cheesecloth and coffee filters) in the beaker and then put the beaker in a crock pot with water in it. I think we keep the water temperature at about 180º F or just below the boiling point of alcohol. We start with 6 ounces of solution and reduce it down to 2 ounces.

I've been experimenting with QWET process...

I use PGS 95 %... I'm working on a vacuum recovery for the ethanol in my spare time...got most of it together.. will do a thread when done.

For now you can.. fill a dish... set on seedling heat mat.. about 12 hours later most ethanol has evaporated and reduced to tincture... a little more time on the mat.. use a razor to scrape off dish.. or credit card... minuscule amount of ethanol left... if any.

Times on mat will vary to wattage and container size / dim. For me this a no fuss or mess way.. with no flames or high heat worries...

Cover dish with stick/support or 2... cover with cheese cloth... dust and bugs.

Thank you for the in put What do you think is better? The alcohol method or steam distilling it.

I don't understand. Do you want to know the difference between reduction and distillation? Alcohol and water are both solvents and can be distilled or reduced. The difference between the two methods is recovery of the vapor. With reduction, the solvent vaporizes into the atmosphere. With distillation, the solvent is recovered. As @SnappyJack mentioned, the viscosity (thickness) of what's left after either reduction or distillation is determined by how long the solution is on the heat. Oil is thicker than tincture because more of the solvent is vaporized.
