Keep in bucket or jar up, I am working alone and trimming is taking a while.

I harvested about a bucket and a third this year and in 10 days after driving I have about a 1/2 of the bucket left. It has a tight lid and so I want to ask, should I jar up,and let curing start, even more than it is in the bucket which is minimal. I feel like it is fine but why not let it get going on curing?

Whatever you choose. I jar it after I trim. 14 days in bucket is fine.

You know what nice bud feels like. Be very careful about moisture content!
I like jars . But make sure and burp them daily for a week. If the bud seems wet when you burp, dump the bud out of the jar onto a cookie sheet or something so it dries 2 or 3 hours to a day. What ever it takes.

Make sure the jar is also dry before putting your bud back in. You don't want any risk of mold or mildew at this point.
Be super careful.
Finding a jar full of moldy stinky bud at this point would be heart breaking to say the least.

You should keep a hygrometer(link) in the bucket and turn the weed over a couple times a day- once its stabilizes at 60% you can Jar it - I use Gamma seal Buckets and Lids (link)- I can store pounds for months - right on!
