Keeping planted seeds in the dark?

I have a bit of a dilemma. Yesterday, I planted my seeds and as usual I left the light off, letting them root in the darkness for the first 24 hours.

But I can't get back to my grow today to turn the light on, so they'll have to spend their first 48 hours in darkness.

Do you think this will effect germ rate? I never had a seed sprout before 3 days so I hope they'll be ok.

I don't put my beans under the lights till they sprout, you're ok.
