Key Lime Kush

What's good everyone? I had the opportunity to run some of Golden Lion Genetics/baba g's KLK to see what it was about, get some bud porn, and give some feedback. It's been a long time coming, and I'm stoked to see how these ladies smoke! These are all from seed, and cuts were taken, for back ups. For those that are not aware somehow the Key Lime Kush is Jack Herer (indica pheno) x Banana Split OG. Yum!

I ran her in 3G plastic pots, 707 soil, RO, Pure Blend Pro-Bloom, Sweet(RAW), CalMg+, Hydroplex, Liquid Karma, Great White, & Bronner's soap. They are all under a 600w Ushio in aMagnum XXL. No CO2. I have been flushing since the last 4 days of week 7, and I plan to harvest around the end of week 9. KLK looks done in about 8 weeks, but will go 9! She is soooo frosty that she looks to have spider mite webbing on her, but it's just resin! The two phenos in the center are very similar; with the front pheno being a bit chunkier. The KLK#6 is a strange pheno with wild kushy/jack bud structure. The KLK#1 looks amazing, but the yield isn't looking huge; I'll have to wait and see the numbers. I'm a Cannaseur so weight isn't my concern so much, but man these buds will speak for themselves, possibly be dense too; hope they smoke well! I'll post up some more shots of them as they come down, and possibly week 9 shots pre chop. I will dry, and cure a bit, and post up some dry bud shots as well. After everything has settled I hope to do a report on the phenos. I popped 6 seeds, and culled 2 males (testing etiquette) leaving me with 4 phenos. Hope you enjoy! Hey guys thanks so much for the warm welcome! I've been around, just uber busy. Feel free to pm me anyone wanting to say what's up, or whatever.

The feeding regimen was super light, and organic, like always. I don't feed heavy at all, and let the plant tell me what it needs. There are some curling leaves on some plants from the flush, but otherwise the cycle went well. Look forward to some dryed shots! Mainly cause that means I'm smoking it! I'm stoked to finally try this KLK. I have had an interest in this lady for awhile now. Thanks for the love homies!

Here are the same ladies at Day 36. These shots were shot in the dark so they aren't the best, but you get the idea. I'll be taking better pictures in the coming week. I'll be taking them outside or at least out of the tent for pictures prior to chop. Then of course the chop shots. These will be a quick easy trim too! Oh, and another fun fact is they were hand fed. Okay everybody I'm starting the chop. Today marks day 61 of bloom, and has a 15 day flush, but hasn't been watered for a couple days. I'm gonna start with KLK#6, then the 2 Headband F2s, then KLK#1. I will leave the 2 ladies that are in the center of the tent for a few more days. The last 2 KLKs will hopefully be finished by then. Still seeing some pistils pokin out on the center two phenos. I'll get some pictures up shortly, as I take them. Enjoy your day fellas/ladies; I know I will!

So here's the Key Lime Kush #6. As I started to see her in the natural light, rather then the HPS, I noticed some lower sites that are still spitting some pistils in a foxtailing calyx tower style, but the tops are done. So I could give her a few days, but I think she'll be okay. Plus I believe the plant takes 3 days to fully cease cell function entirely. Then the drying begins, all after the chop. The shape of the top of the plant is like it is because when I topped her I left the two side buds that would have been side skirts to a cola, but I didn't know what the stretch was going to be like so I topped.
