You have to imagine i started growing Cannabis 13+ years ago, and back then there was no one to tell you what to really do, everyone kept it hush hush! Those times of growing were super hard! But its the reason why a lot if people do know what they are doing because we have ran into almost ever problem imaginable! Lol

I lost tens of thousands of dollars to make it easier for other people! And I wouldnt change it even if I could, because i wouldnt know what I know today because of it!

Once you get the hang of everything, it will becomes like 2nd nature to you and it will become effortless. But for now just try not to get too discouraged when things go wrong, it helps you learn what to and what not to do.

Just make sure when you see even the slightest bit of something looking off just ask people on here, there's a lot of very knowledgeable people on here willing to help, as long as you catch any problems soon enough everything will be fine! Dont stress!

Everythings looking alot better though! Great job, just keep it up!

So true. At home, I don't even count week for flowering or veg. A few other things as well. I just count on the journals for other people who follow. Now I can look at my plants and know what they need or don't need. It's amazing how much a difference a few grows can make. Specially when you try to learn something new each grow and work on what you lacked the previous grow. It's a blessing when you finally do get dialed in though.

Everyone looks happier this afternoon. I trimmed some of the bad leaves off.

Hopefully, I will find my paper with my data on it and update some numbers. Especially because I wrote a question on it, too. I'll take this moment to remind myself to be patient with my "self." The memory thing is what's causing a bit of panic, however, I do believe if I get the menopause symptoms in check, it will help. It's hard to differentiate the two.

I hope each one of y'all is having a good day. Peace be with you and yours.

@oldskol4evr, I hope all is well with you. . Even while you aren't here, you are still a genius. You helped me get my plants back to health, hopefully, your health is good.

If anyone can help me out that would be great. My brain has completely screwed up my mathing.

Ingoing water:
PPM: 404
pH: 6.4

Outgoing water:
PPM: 252
pH: 7.2

Everyone seems really happy, but I feel like I should tweak a little more Canna 1&2? Or is it the opposite? (Basing this on PPM difference)

Last picture is just how the camera hits the light. I've double and triple checked. :)

They are looking sooo much better! Really nice green,

400ppm going in to 250ppm coming out seems odd, its very unusual for the ppms to be that low! You must have a really heavy feeder!

Are you watering through to where it comes out the bottom of your pot every watering?

But you need to shoot for 6.0-6.2 going in and stick with that, 6.4 is a little high... Its fine for one feeding but dont make a habit of it!

Are you watering everyday? Or at least keeping the coco completely moist?

6.4 going and 7.2 coming out is really high, not to mention really far between what you are feeding in!

I would feed them more then 400ppm, its only my opinion but when my plants get as big as yours are in your pics im feeding anywhere from 700-800ppm everyday!

But when i feed my plants (which are in coco as well, and i also use CANNA nutrients in the commerical grow)

The feed goes in at 700-800ppm and the run off comes out anywhere between 1000-1100ppm... My run off PH never varies away from 5.8-6.2

If its high then just water with lower ph, cause the coco will buffer it.

So if your run off is coming out 7.2 you need to do a good couple feedings at 5.8 to balance that out.

Dont forget the extra calmag, you still have neon green tiger striping in the leaves, but they went from yellow green to neon green which is a great sign!

Just keep it up! Doing good!

Thank you! I had a question about my SSSD for you specifically, however, I have forgotten what what it was. I write it out so it will trigger something hours later. Haha! I appreciate you.

I had a lightbulb moment last night, I guess. The numbers stopped freaking me out and I let the plants talk, so I did what made sense. It's how I operated on the ambulance a lot of times, too. I guess it works for me. :)

I do appreciate your help. I think what's happening today, maybe I didn't pick up on them requiring more nutrients fast enough, so they were storing them to prepare for starvation or something? Not sure if it quite operates like that, but it's what our bodies do. I am sure tomorrow the numbers will probably balance out. I did drop back on my feed.

This go around:

Ingoing:
pH 6.4
ppm 406

Outgoing:
pH 6.0 (is this correct? Still feels off to me. Shouldn't this be higher? Maybe tomorrow's first feed there will be?)
ppm 356

Your plant will do something similar when you put it through a flush so yes it will take up as much is there, but if you are coming out at a lower PPM then what you are feeding in then im guessing they are eating A LOT, cause its just like our bodies consume sugars, our body can only process so much sugar and stores the rest as fat for later, the only difference is that in coco the remaining PPMs left in the coco from run off are nutrients the plant didnt really need in that amount of time!

As im sure your familiar your plant takes up NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium) much faster then any other nutrients, and because of this in coco whenever you do run off the majority of the ppms you are reading is stuff it doesnt really need like micro nutrient and sometimes sugars that have broken down as well as some Cal, Mag that hasnt been uptaken. This is why im suggesting next feeding give them more!

Because they have consumed the NPK and theres nothing really left, now that doesnt mean your plants are going to go into deficiency, but as your plants get bigger they will need more NPK, and if there is none around because they have consumed they then thats when you will go deficient! That and your plant may start feeding on the micro nutrients because it needs food.

But because you are in coco it wont happen right away cause you feed daily, but as your plants get bigger your plants are going to need more food!

I would slowly start bumping up the food every 3 days or so by 50-100ppm.

They may not look like it cause like I said they are in coco getting fed everyday but they are slowly going to start starving, this is apparent simply from the ppm run off being much lower then you are feeding in!

Makes perfect sense to me. Thank you for that. You spoke my language. (Our bodies are much different; as babies, there is a blood test most don't know about called the NPK test; I'm a geek. )
So, I should feed around about 500ish?

Yea i would go 500, then if your run off is under 500ppms then do 600ppm, then just keep testing run off until you reach an equilibrium with your nutrients, then try to go just a little higher

Lets say you put in 600ppms and on your run off you get 800ppms then thats good! that means 200ppms wasnt uptaken by your plant in 24hr period, but most if not all of the 200ppm are stuff your plant doesnt really need.

You know your plant needs more food if you ever give it 600ppm and instead of 800ppm coming out it is 600-700ppms, you kind of get what I mean?

Since you fed 600ppm you minus that from the total off the run off, if that number is lower then 200-400ppm then you need more food usually (A&B nutrients), if it is over 400ppm then you are feeding too much or too much has built up!

Being under is when you run into deficiencies

And being over is when you run into nutrient lockout, burns, or toxicities.

Same goes for PH too

Houston, we have a problem. Someone pretty please tell me I haven't suddenly gotten mites. Not sure where they would have come from. Nothing new was introduced, but won't make a difference if it is. They would be there now.

As a precaution, I pulled everyone out and deconned the whole unit (hahaha! throw back to back in the day). Only two plants were affected, I don't see any root involvement or further limb involvement for that matter. I inspected everyone and cut out any yellowing leaves. Walls and all are dry now.

What I'm thinking is I left the humidifier on a weird setting (don't ask, I don't have answers). When I opened the tent this morning, it was at 80% humidity (room and tent), which no bueno for even humans. The whole section of the house is aired out properly now. I think I will hook up the vent back outside and start putting the vent fan on for longer. Room and tent are at 47% humidity. The leaves that were affected were on a wall that had condensation on it pretty heavily.

Temp: 72 F
Ingoing water:
ppm 404
pH 6.2

Outgoing water:
ppm 194
pH 7.2

@oldskol4evr , if you are out there, I hope all is well.

Also, new mystery seed that was in my bag popped. We have a baby! It's supposed to be Cookies & Cream, but who knows what it is, really. I'm at the mercy of availability, but I will say it's a one hit wonder.

Well the mites suck but im hoping that white on the leaves is residue because otherwise its PM, but it kind of looks like residue to me.

Its really hard to make out if you have mites for sure in the Pic, but if you do hit them up with some green cleaner or a product with Potassium Salts from fatty acids (fancy way to say potassium soap!)

If you do have them you want to get rid of them asap before they start webbing up your plants.

As long as you act fast it wont be too big of a problem.

I would a preventive just in case you dont have them, anytime your plant goes through stress its more susceptible to getting pests and PM.

They probably were around but started multiplying when you ran into your deficiency, or depending on where you live you could have brought them from outside or someone else's grow!

Ive even heard of people getting mites from a bag of weed they had gotten from someone and they rolled and smoke that shit in their basement!

I just know you want to kill them asap!

What's in green cleaner and would neem oil not work? I'm not meaning to come across as downplaying what you are saying in the least, I am truly curious. I would like to get it handled in the most non-chemical way possible. Talk to me like I don't have money to go buy some product. What would they have used 13 years ago, when you got started?

If I'm being extra, it's just my diagnosis allowed me to truly look at my life from the inside out, part of all of that process is coming to the realization that all of us, as humans, are chemicaled out, you know? Our mitochondria is changing because of long-term pesticide use. It's science, not something debatable unless one deliberately chooses not to evolve. Anyway, long story short, what I have I realize could be from a lifetime of chemical uses in our foods, water, etc. I'm not blaming anyone, we are evolving. But, that's why I like to know how to solve it, if possible, using the least possible. If it's not possible, because I know mites are iffy. It's making my skin crawl thinking of it.

Of course, I don't even know how much neem oil is and if it's safe for cannabis, but I'll look it up. Also, I do remember speaking to @oldskol4evr a few days ago and he and I were talking about my NOT needing to put Cal-mag in with every feed, only if needed, but I had put it in the feeds already, so he told me to let it correct itself with corrective action.

It's sort of odd this came up since I was reading about beneficial bugs today. Do people utilize this measure in tents? Not sure who or what would eat mites, but I may just research that.

Not mites. What's this white stuff, did you spray or drip something or is this white stuff what you found after the high humidity?

That was after the high humidity. I'm thinking calcium is leaching, if it doesn't look like mites? Since I made a mistake a few days ago and over did it with the Cal-mag?
