One of the saddest things to watch is when people can't be truthful with their intent because they are sitting in judgement thinking new energy is coming to take their toys. I can't tell you how many times I have lost respect for plenty of leaders who make decisions based on fear for losing something they own, or think they own. It's not what causes the lack of respect, it's when a person isn't brave enough to admit they have made a mistake in judgement. When people realize the Universe is abundant, that's when one can truly start living. Life is not meant to be lived harnessing envy, jealousy, greed, or hate.
This is based on a recent observation. I will stick to this small corner of this forum.
Thank you for your patience with my million questions at different times. I think what I will start doing is, write my questions down, walk away for a bit and come back. I've noticed I've been doing it in life, too. That way, you a thousand messages won't be waiting. Where do I get them?Hi k , I'm still traveling so it's difficult to find time to answer all of the topics at once
Yea the nematodes are predators that eat the larva , and such , of the destructive pests ,
They come in microscopic batches living in a small blue sponge , you just cut a tiny piece of sponge and drop it in a gallon of water , then hundreds ? More ? Thousands
Get saturated in the soil and live there eating up everything till they run out of food , then they die....
Not sure how well they work in coco, again havent used that medium
I'll research it
The chocolates are fairly simple
Just need to Decarb (heat in your oven )some buds , and make a butter , I use a sous vide cooker
Then it's a little tricky to temper the melted butter with the melted chocolate and pour into a silicon candy mold
And I'll give you an estimated grams / milligram dose for the chocolate , usually I make a 5 or 10 milligram dose....
You might want to skip " topping " your plants , they are getting big and you may want to flip to 12/12 this week....
You really need to inspect the underside of the leaf asap before any further decisions
Deff want to start knocking out mites before taking any next steps
Including clones....
Identify any pests , fungus gnats , thrips , mites are the most common
Whatever you " might " have , dosent seem to be doing much damage yet , so you can get on top of it now
Your plants look well fed , maybe a slight tip burn , so I think you are doing good with your feed schedule ......
I forgot about the flooding season here. Ugh. I can't even be sure we aren't in a floodzone, but I'm assuming not since I'm sure where we live we are at a higher elevation. It's going to be like this until middle of March. Good thing you are at a higher elevation. Once it all goes away, it's all going to be the prettiest green you will have ever seen.your just going to have to deal with the hum..... keep a few fans going and the open a vent in the tent...... put black patty hoes over the vent to dalk out the little ligth you may get........
youre going to have it for the next 3 months with the rain this place seems to get...........
good move on the light they need it..............
10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 %I had one last thought I wanted to get out to you , I've been growing a long time , 30 years , that dosent mean I know more or that I'm a better grower than someone whose been doing it for two years
First 10 years , basically no information
Next 10 years , books and then community then Internet and a tidal wave of information and product....
All the old school growers went thru the same thing
First just plant some seed in dirt and sunshine , usually ending in failure for many reasons
Then landing seeds indoors under T 12 flourish , then t 8 and T 5 flourous
Then the breakthrough High intensity discharge lights hps and mh
Game changer , then nutes , usual all general hydroponics , foxrfarm
Sensi , and advanced nutrients,
There weren't really ppm and ph practices as active as they seem to be now
My point is that I've been reading a lot of questions from newbies like , what is this curl , what is this spot , why are my leaves brown ? Etc
And invariable the response is " what your ppm ?
What's your run off ppm ?
What's your in ph what's out ph?
It seems to me that it's getting a little geek Like add cal /mag
Fix ph , up ppm.....
Yea I get it , but at some point you are going to get away from digital meters and develope a sense of love and interaction for the plant , just look at your plant , breathe near your plant , see what she is telling you , not what a geek number is telling you
These plants all have different needs its up to you to discover t
i use cal mag between 1-2 ml a gallon (tap water 180 ppm). i use epsom salt to boost the magnesium @ 1 gram per gallon. looks like a magnesium deficiency to me . i have found that leds seem to call for more magnesium .They are looking sooo much better! Really nice green,
400ppm going in to 250ppm coming out seems odd, its very unusual for the ppms to be that low! You must have a really heavy feeder!
Are you watering through to where it comes out the bottom of your pot every watering?
But you need to shoot for 6.0-6.2 going in and stick with that, 6.4 is a little high... Its fine for one feeding but dont make a habit of it!
Are you watering everyday? Or at least keeping the coco completely moist?
6.4 going and 7.2 coming out is really high, not to mention really far between what you are feeding in!
I would feed them more then 400ppm, its only my opinion but when my plants get as big as yours are in your pics im feeding anywhere from 700-800ppm everyday!
But when i feed my plants (which are in coco as well, and i also use CANNA nutrients in the commerical grow)
The feed goes in at 700-800ppm and the run off comes out anywhere between 1000-1100ppm... My run off PH never varies away from 5.8-6.2
If its high then just water with lower ph, cause the coco will buffer it.
So if your run off is coming out 7.2 you need to do a good couple feedings at 5.8 to balance that out.
Dont forget the extra calmag, you still have neon green tiger striping in the leaves, but they went from yellow green to neon green which is a great sign!
Just keep it up! Doing good!
