The white on the leaves and what looks like the leaves were eaten, but I couldn't differentiate between that and/or nute burn. I did not see any webs or anything.I guess my point is I'm not seeing any Visual Evidence of mites and I'm curious what you saw that makes you think that you in fact have mites?
Right, I didn't see any evidence of mites either and I'm not sure if the white was wpm or maybe you spilled something but if it was wpm it would get worse, not better on its own if left untreated, so my guess would be it's not mites or wpm and going by the last pictures I saw they look healthy, hope this helps good luck! The white on the leaves and what looks like the leaves were eaten, but I couldn't differentiate between that and/or nute burn. Hi k@dire wolf Were you going to send me something on how to top the plants? Is it too late now?
Thank you!Cut the top of the plant off here , at the pink line , just snip
yes it just crazy with all the info floating around,I was so lucky to be mentored by a master grower back in 1981,learned without the aid of meters, testers or LEDs,no nutrient programs. Seeds clones were sourced locally or from Sensi catolog. The funny thing is the weed is no better stronger today than it was 40 years ago. My plants tell me what they need and I have lost a few crops in the process.Patience and experience is #1,luckily there are some great growers on this site to answer the questions to problems that come up with any learning curve. I learn things every time I visit hereI had one last thought I wanted to get out to you , I've been growing a long time , 30 years , that dosent mean I know more or that I'm a better grower than someone whose been doing it for two years
First 10 years , basically no information
Next 10 years , books and then community then Internet and a tidal wave of information and product....
All the old school growers went thru the same thing
First just plant some seed in dirt and sunshine , usually ending in failure for many reasons
Then landing seeds indoors under T 12 flourish , then t 8 and T 5 flourous
Then the breakthrough High intensity discharge lights hps and mh
Game changer , then nutes , usual all general hydroponics , foxrfarm
Sensi , and advanced nutrients,
There weren't really ppm and ph practices as active as they seem to be now
My point is that I've been reading a lot of questions from newbies like , what is this curl , what is this spot , why are my leaves brown ? Etc
And invariable the response is " what your ppm ?
What's your run off ppm ?
What's your in ph what's out ph?
It seems to me that it's getting a little geek Like add cal /mag
Fix ph , up ppm.....
Yea I get it , but at some point you are going to get away from digital meters and develope a sense of love and interaction for the plant , just look at your plant , breathe near your plant , see what she is telling you , not what a geek number is telling you
These plants all have different needs its up to you to discover t
Done. :)Cut the top of the plant off here , at the pink line , just snip
Yes, I am of the mind that there was one thing our teachers taught us across the board back in the day (now, I'm aging myself, but don't care) is how to operate with manual processes. We need to go back to that, which will make sponsors, etc. unhappy, but it's how we can all meet in the middle, no matter what the subject is. Not only does it require a higher skill level as far as the teacher is concerned, it builds a relationship in trust. I think that's something we can learn during this giant cultural change we are going through. I needed to learn patience with my Self, so this was a good time for me to learn.yes it just crazy with all the info floating around,I was so lucky to be mentored by a master grower back in 1981,learned without the aid of meters, testers or LEDs,no nutrient programs. It's possible they look like that because they have lose long stems.hey k
I have to look a little more closely , later tonight
You might have fimmed instead of topped
There shouldn't be two leaves left on tip top of plant , the goal is to get the 2 dominant side shoots on top there standing alone in the sun
I think you might have been afraid of the haircut , and you said you weren't a hippy
I think you are ....
I'll check later and draw a pic on your photo
Plants have been topped.
Everyone seems really chill today.
