Plan of action:
Gather pollen in a jar with a paint brush when it's lights on. Dust up a female. :)

I will wait to dust up female until I post close ups of them. I'm nervous, so I will wait until I post pictures of the SSSD females, choose one (only have two). If the other one ISN'T a herm, then she will be the one as she is large and the boss. She likes to sting, too, occasionally. Have any of y'all experienced that as a defense mechanism with the Diesel strain. My other ones don't do it.

@DreamsOfDiesel, twice you have been right about telling me to wait. I'm deferring to you RE: herm. I'm going to wait it out since now I'm looking at the pictures and I feel like it's a 'She.' She might just be one of those really strong, beautiful women. Like Sekhmet. I did deem her the Mother of Dragons. 🤩🐉
I got a feel for diesels lol, when you love them it just happens

Has one of yours ever stung you? This is to you, @dire wolf, and @basscaptain (anyone else with Diesel familiarity). Also, y'all know you can never ever sell her contribution to the world unless it's a completely even exchange, right? Is she from China? I guess I'll have to do more research.

Hey k , also your male is a really good looking one , you hit the jackpot there also ...
I sort thru many males before using them , from the pic alone , i would choose that if i needed to , its not too stretchy , its got great leaf and stem structure and its got loads of healthy compact sites , those factors are important for a breeder as they translate into your next generations health....

Yes , they have stung me , if you mean your arms come out with a burning rash after you expose your flesh to the leaf .....

Yes!!! They really, really get my hubs. So much so that the last time he went in tent he said he didn't want to go back again. I told him the girls were just mad it wasn't me because I had been in there in the morning. The boys are certainly a lot calmer, but they are bored and lonely. My heart hurts for them. Hahaha!

Funny you should mention that , it seems like it used to happen a lot , but not in a long time now.....so now maybe ive built up an immunity or they got used to me and calmed down and got to know me as a friend not an enemy 😊

Oh , there are some sad times for the boys , cloning males isint a bad idea either , i often do it to keep a good male alive for projects

Pet their leaves (not 1s with trichs lol) when they sting, always made them happy, they just want attention & to know they're heard, living things lol

Could be true , i got a bunch of big plants in veg right next to my bed , on my wifes side , shes not that passionate about the whole grow thing....

But sure loves to smoke

And i thought she was going to get angry with me , the plants were really happy , but i didnt ask my wife anything
So i figured id better move them after a week , so i put them in another empty room next to that bed ...

Next day i wake up at 4 am , and no wife
I find her in the other room sleeping , so i wake her up and ask her whats she doing there , and she says , i miss the plants , i cant breathe well without them near me !

I couldent believe it , now we have a few around our bed .....

Everything about these plants is either for protection or reproduction even the thc that gets us high is a self defence mechanism

Think about it, right? Their leaves on the other sides, if you can see them as skeletons, what do they resemble? I see lungs, so it makes perfect sense to me that she would say that. It occured to me the other night that our ozone is perfect for growing them. They will help clean out the air.

I'm about to scrunch some dried and cured leaves in with some usnea. I'm going to let it ferment for at least six months, then divide further and let further fermentation occur. In my head, seems like it would help with breathing and mineral intake. I'm just not super stoked about extraction with alcohol period. It may be it's because I literally can't stomach it. Minerals in leaves extract best in water, but if you let water sit too long, it gets yucky, hence the introduction of grain alcohol.

Thank you for your patience with me while I write it out to the Universe. 💗 🙏

I swear this, "Female or Male" thing is the most nerve wracking. I'm changing my answer again. No male in the tent. The most populated tent is the females. I now I have to feed them and defoliate on completely different days so as to not get anyone excited.

I have procured some pollen. I defoliated the boys.

I'd like to pollinate the tallest female, the one I keep referencing. I may wait a couple of days. I am led to go by their energy. Anytime I mess around in the females tent, the Mother seems to get a bit bent out of shape and the others seem to think they have to go into defense mode or something. It's interesting to observe.

Just a note to say that that is not all pollen. The powder all over the sides is it, some made it to the bottom. I put a bit too much flour in, but I'm assuming (by assuming I mean praying) that I can keep adding to it and all will be okay? 😁

Yes , and im pretty sure you didnt add too much flour , my reccomendation was way off , you can add a much higher % of flour , dont worry ... just keep it cool and more important , dry

So, tomorrow, once I fleece the boy again, then what? Go to the Mother and use a qtip to swab her with, then wet it down, right? Where exactly am I impregnating her?

To the Universe: Can I please live in a place where they can just have their own room the way they like it? I'd like my own spaces, too. Thank you.

Hey K , i think you expressed wanti g to pollinate the tall female, that one is not ready , so what i would suggest is to pollinate a few of the branches on the shorter female.

You can store pollen in the fridge or freezer and pollinate the tall one next week ,
Or hold on to your male and pollinate next week

if you do the short one tomorrow , just select a branch , grab some fresh pollen , brush it on the " white hairs " pistils .... dont spray the buds you pollinate , you can mist them 3 hours later , but i would not mist them immediately , mist the other branches after you pollinate the desired bud site to keep the pollen off them , ( keep pollen off your un pollinated branches )

Forget about the bags on the branches ,
