I am not the grower of the abusive, its my system sorta. It is a model from a few years back. I now incorporate a mist sys in mine. It is a drip,nft,aero combo. I just stole some ideas from Krusty ,he stole from the bikers,all the way down to the hanging gardens of babylon. It looks like a 5 gal net pot sitting in a 18 gal box w/a 8" view port. It is a GM1000 BY GM enterprises. Each plant is surrounded by a 1000w. I buy
hortilux. Medium for me is a chow mix of 60/40. Most bucketeers run lava,but my back can not deal with that. The guys running the abusive are running 100% perlite feeding 24/7. I am going to try a few buckets that way. they told me they are drinking 2 gal a day each all the time while mine will do that in spurts.They can deplete a rez big enough for 3 gal/plant 250 ppm overnight. Oh and vertical bare lighting.
When I was told a good few years back I had to grow Bubba, I looked around. No way was that going to work so I paid 500 bucks for 5 of swerves bubba,ran them with a 3/4 lb avg. I then crossed them to a paki stud and pulled 2.6/plant. Its strong just a dif flavor. Some clubs sold it as purple bubba. No one likes my name BP.
I am surprised no one has crossed og with something totally different to give it size then work your way back to the og. The prices they get it would seem worth the effort. I have tried a few
Chemdog '91 and some of that soul assassin's og but I get more from one of my branches then from a plant of those. I just told my patients to trade for og. We get 2.5-3lb a plant now, from easy to grow strains.I am leaving soon to go back home, I do not think these guys could handle pushing plants that hard. I have been told to try the tahoe and ha cut, but I do not have the time to dial it in. When I told my patients they would have to except 2/3's less meds, well that did not fly well. I personally would like to see if I could get that fire/white cross to make it thru a winter grow down south. A jar of that sift I'll bet would be good for what ails ya. I posted a pic of a friends plant in TK's krusty thread. It has nothing to do with a kush. But if you have ever grown something like a NL x BB you will be able to see what the krusty system can do. I just remember its a 4lb+ plant. I think it was 4lb 3 oz. All of acys were 4 week veg, everything had to be under 90 days.
All you need is 50w/sq'(krusty got 33lb from 10k avg 35w/sq ') air temps 78* water temp 68-70* humidity 75% and lots of love.
