Busy morning, I checked the seedlings an noticed
that a leaf looked like it has some burn from nuites
I checked the run off and it was as 1140 PPM on the tester
I ran some water thu it, a couple of pints, an got it down to 512.
I guess that dirt is charged to much for my seedlings.
Not sure where it should be tho but guessing around 500 is ok
PH in run off is 6.0
It gets unnerving when lil things happen and you only have 2 lil ones growing lol šŸ¤“

Pics 9 days old you can see the tips are burnt 2 angles on one plant

Hey catching up on your stuff. Sorry you got ripped. Hearing a lot of that this year. :-(

I think that soil looks too wet. May be causing the tips and deformity. Spray water less often. Let stay mostly dry for best results not mostly wet.

You keep going bud. Thats what it takes. Persistence. But with patience.

I read some stuff on their website (Head River Organics)
It says this stuff is to be mixed in with regular garden soil
Maybe it is like super compost an strong with nuits
Maybe I should have mixed it with or just used a reg potting soil mix
Hard to find now but will look next trip to home depot

Temp 76Ā° Humidity 56%
I think humy is low, should raise it to 70-80%

When seedy weedy gives ya lemons ya gotta make some lemonade šŸ˜Ž šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

I just don't understand the high PPM runoff
It prob be fine after I ran 2-3 pints of water thu
an knocked it down to 500
I am just a lil jumpy from seeing the burn.
I once had an old and semi soggy bag of fox farm that I purchased and the PPM was something like 16 or 17 hundred; a normal bag of that same soil is around 500 or a little under from my observations so it could have been old ?

Nice catch :) I ordered it early this year April or May I can't remember
So it bout 6 months old
Had it stored in the cellar in a closed bin
Cellar is usually bout 65Ā° and 60% hum
Dirt look dry and good when I opened it
Maybe something breaks down in it that cause PPM to increase over time

I think you got it tho, Old Dirt

They are doing much better today thanks Beachwalker for your help.

I found this when I was looking where I purchased them, interesting about the strain

AFGHAN KUSH EARLY HARVEST

  • Purchase AFGHAN KUSH EARLY HARVEST

We bring to you this Indica Kush, a lineage that has produced many champion strains, from the Hindu Kush mountain range in Northern Afghanistan. This particular strain grows wild in the valleys of the Armu Darya River, which forms the border between Tajikistan and Ukbekistan.
100% pure Indica strain. As different wild Kush varieties grow side-by-side in such a relatively small area, this very stable, is probably the result of multiple interbreeding. A very special hash taste and smell, sheā€™s a very compact and hardy plant. Owing to her potent, relaxing effect, which is not at all cerebral, Afghan Kush is a pure strain with a very high medicinal value.

Got my seeds today wow fast service nicely packaged too
It was super expensive imo but sometimes you get what you pay for
Reviews were great so I hope my wife don't find out how much I paid for them lol šŸ˜Ž šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

8-Bruce Banner
created by Dark Horse Genetics/Delta9 labs
This sativa dominant hybrid has a great balance between sativa and indica
Emanating sweet undertones of fruitiness from the Strawberry Diesel parentage
without taking away the wonderful spicy fuel skunk qualities of the authentic OG Kush

8-Strawberry Banana
created by Reserva Privada DNA Genetics in collaboration with Serious Seeds.
This cross of Crockett's Banana Kush and Serious Seeds Strawberry pheno of Bubble Gum
70% Indica~30% Sativa

8-Ghost Train Haze
was originated by Rare Dankness seeds by crossing Ghost OG with Nevil's Wreck.
This is the same awesome Ghost OG cut that was brought to the west coast by master grower Kyle Kushman..
A super smooth smoking experience and a stellar flavor of floral skunky sweet haze is sure
to please even the most discriminating palate

They look great

Was only going to grow the 2 this time around but
I got these new seeds burning a hole in my pocket lol
Maybe I will wait a bit then start a new one so they are one month apart
I will have to get that new light from Mars Hydro which is very expensive
$679+tax+shipping FC 4800 series
If everything is true from what I read, then it is much better than any I have looked at so far.

Well the new kids are looking great I have not watered since the flush
I put an air purifier in the tent for air movement
oil heater to raise temp (it was at 71Ā° now at 77Ā°
Might have to use my small humidifier in there also 38% now
It's getter crowded in there lol

pics (they seem kinda short for 2wks of growth)

Update:
I guess that phone like wire is for daisy chaining so the dimmer can be used for all lights

On another note,
I was frustrated only 2 seeds popped so I took the other pots
and put them outside to let the sun do it's work
it rained a lot this past week, the squirrels got into them
wrecked one pot and dug into the others.
I put them under chicken wire as I should have in the first place.
After about a month in those pots I was surprised to see this!

IMG 0302

Yep another one popped lol
Here are the others @ 3wks old

IMG 0303

I fed them yesterday
400 PPM
1 mil Cal-Mag
2 mil Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow
PH 6.0
Run Off was high again
Not sure if I should flush again or just
move them into some FF Oceanside I just got.
Other than slight tip burn they are doing fine.

These are hybrid seeds, part auto, part regular
I have no idea how they will grow lol

BTW last week I sprayed some Super Thrive on them
I think that is what causing the blotchy white spots on the leaves.

The nuit mix above is in a qt.

I repotted the new one in FFO
I also raised the light to 28" above pots
gave it a lil H2O and put it to bed.

Beautiful day out today šŸ˜Ž

I get nervous about the high PPM, did a flush damm 1100 ppm
So I said to hell with this and re-potted them into FF Ocean Forest.

Now wait to see if they die from the shock lol

I think roots look good

IMG 1253

They short and bushy

Recovering nicely
I took the light down to 75% they looked stressed

I watered the lil one and PPM runoff is 414 so good in FFOF, relieved!
No food for a couple of weeks then will feed Dyna Gro Foliage Pro an the Silicon Sup
These 3 plants are a goofy hybrid made for a quick harvest
"8 weeks total till harvest" it says They are almost 4 weeks now
I probably set them back a week tho with that high octane soil and transplant
I've done auto's once before might do again this summer in da cool cellar

I've been mulling over planting Strawberry Banana seeds
Which would give me another crop in Feb.
