Yes I've done that but turned it on full 100% at some point and I watched to see if there were any problems and there were none untill this.During late flowering, special attention is needed, such as a close watch on humidity levels. Too low humidity and Dosidos plants will transpire too much.
Grow lights should not be kept too close to avoid stress. If you use LEDs, turn the power to 25% at the beginning of the growing cycle and gradually increase to 50% and later to 75% and monitor closely how your plants react. If you notice there're burns on the tops of the crops, make sure you decrease the power of your lights or take action to distance the grow lights further away from the tops.

The leaves on the plants in auto pots are beautiful, I've slowly been adjusting up to now 65%, I'll keep bumping it up as they get more food but I'll drop it back to 50 -55% the last week and turn the hours back up to 18/6.......During late flowering, special attention is needed, such as a close watch on humidity levels. I run a 600 watt light in flowering tent and i run it about 55 percent capacity maximum it works for me. Have a controller on light i can set it to what ever i want .Yes I've done that but turned it on full 100% at some point and I watched to see if there were any problems and there were none untill this.
I moved it up to 16" and hope that solves the problem but if not i will lower the intensity to 75%. I guess the SD is a sensitive mf.
Btw I was going by this MarsHydro Light Chart:
I'd never heard of them....a bit pricey up here with 15% on top......I had some of these left over from another grow I was experimenting on.
Wth I put one in the tent, I only have 3 left and each is good for 2 wks.
It's kinda gimmicky not sure if it worked or not but I did get my best harvest when I did use them.
I'm sure it was something other than the amt of CO2 in the tent but I brought them on a whim.
Not sure I paid $20 for em or were cheaper back then cause everything is going up lately.
So I put one in the tent and will put another in every week to see if it helps, lol.
Mines 480w and can set it to what ever, I was trying out 100% but should have checked luxI run a 600 watt light in flowering tent and i run it about 55 percent capacity maximum it works for me. Have a controller on light i can set it to what ever i want .
Curious how you are planning to keep the CO2 contained in the tent. Do you have an exhaust fan?I had some of these left over from another grow I was experimenting on.

I also used this one in that grow back when I had only 2 AP's going but was a big yield.I'd never heard of them....a bit pricey up here with 15% on top......

Yes, that's what I thought too.Curious how you are planning to keep the CO2 contained in the tent. Do you have an exhaust fan?
I'm using the G3000 , 300w max at 65% I just measured distance and my buds range from 11" on the outer edge and 23" on lower buds in the center....everything looks happy so I'll just keep adjusting upwards. I went to check lux and 3 dead AAA's don't help...fkin cheap Dollar store batteries lol.....8 for $1 or the good ones are 8 for $2 and these are the good ones......lol.....Mines 480w and can set it to what ever, I was trying out 100% but should have checked lux
as I've read that 65k is max it should be on the plants.
The other plants have no problem with the 100% it's only the SD so they will have to conform to it lol.
I'll check the lux again tomorrow and take a closer look at all the plants.
I might lower to 75-80% and see what the lux is.
I'm going to re-check the lighting tomorrow gotta watchI'm using the G3000 , 300w max at 65% I just measured distance and my buds range from 11" on the outer edge and 23" on lower buds in the center....everything looks happy so I'll just keep adjusting upwards. It doesn't get good reviews . I check the 1 star and if its a repeat complaint I take it serious...too expensive as well for disposable.....might be better off just going 100% on it tank and all......Too pro like for me. and basements are pretty high in C02 any ways....I also used this one in that grow back when I had only 2 AP's going but was a big yield.
Prob just as expensive in Canada tho
I was going to get the refills but found the Green Pads.

8 p-m lights ot here tooI'm going to re-check the lighting tomorrow gotta watch
Wheel of Fortune with wifey and lights go out at 8pm.
Right now I gotta toke one up quick, it's more fun to watch when I'm high high high.
I've looked into all types of CO2 enrichment schemes and none of them tell me how to keep the CO2 contained in the tent with lights on.It doesn't get good reviews . Yes, I might have done that, can't remember lol.I've looked into all types of CO2 enrichment schemes and none of them tell me how to keep the CO2 contained in the tent with lights on.
The only thing I can think of for those that claim they can do it in a tent is that they turn off the exhaust fan on lights out and spray the tent with CO2 if they don't need to exchange air to keep the tent cool enough. Once lights go on whatever the plant was able to take up duri9ng lights off is what it gets....
Too many numbers for me and too much figuring. I just added batteries to my meter and I was only getting @65% ...25,000 lux at the top ....a bit too low at 3 weeks in flower so I bumped it up to @70% and 40,000 lux a big jump on a 5% move upwards.....The leaves are far healthier than ever before with such a low lux and I've good bud production for 3 weeks, I'd hate to fk that up but with more feed I can give them more light...... ppm 1085 and I'm now adding cal/magI raised my light to 20" and set it at 100%
I get 35-55k lux reading at that height.
I also moved the light over a inch or two cause of the descrepancy
in lux reading from left to right, which corrected it.
Now have similar lux reading on both sides.
I raised the light because on all chart maps I've seen, the higher the light, the
better the PPFD coverage overall.
MarsHydro changed their map to CO2 none CO2 so have to use a similar one
by Spider-Farmer which is almost the same light.
Yes, it is higher in the middle sections but the outside suffers for it.
If I just had one plant or two plants but I have a lot of outside on the edge growth.
Which begs the question why lower it, as they say to do, when at a higher lvl
the coverage is so much better, at least, according to their maps?

That's a nice light above..if you want all the space for plants....I'm not filling my 5x5 the front 1/4 is for equipment, fans, humidifier, heater.....where does that stuff go with a full house?.......I'm using an SF600 on the front of 2 SE3000. although the SF600 is recommended for veg it gives me 55,000 lux about 9" from the light where I have it lowered down to and the buds under it are as nice as any of the rest in the field.... it would be a nice side light.I have the same dilemma but I'm working with COB boards rather than bar lights. I'd like to pick up this light for the 5 x 5.

I'm in the same dilemma as you. The edges of the light don't have enough PPFD to be able to grow the edges properly.
I was thinking of getting four 60w light bars and frame the COB boards I have.
