I've been looking into seed companies specialising in landrace strains. I see alot of tropical sativas and nepalese and hymalayan strains but I haven't come across many kush lines. The only ones I've found are from world of seeds and get bad reviews.

Does anyone have idea why this is? Seems funny in the current kush craze that the old lines have been forgotten. I've been looking into growing landrace strains mostly out of interest in growing them alongside current hybrids. Having enough quality smoke isn't such a worry right now so I have room to play :tongueout

Nepali and Himalayan strains will be closer to kush than any of the current OG flavours.
Pakistani, Chitral, Mazar, Kabul and Ghani's are also closely related to proper kush.

Sensi Seeds Hindu Kush comes from old lines and is quite nice
X18 has caught my eye recently, made from Kush cultivars from what little I have read.

Cheers

deep chunk, x18 two winners with lots of potential. Mountain grown Deep Chunk is the definition of kush.

yo swerve's got a landrace kingston jamaican he's workin with as well as a landrace lebanese hash plant.
Also the original alientech is an afghani landrace brought back by a US a soldier.
Landrace genetics are great for breeding projects; definitely different than watered down over-worked 'super' genetics most of us are workin with.

Since we're talking about Landraces. I'm running Purple Kush x Pakistani Land Race now. Any feedback on this particular Landrace? Thanks

a Old School Hindu Kush might be a good start for you. Deep Chunk, X18, Pine tar Kush, Chitral, Mazar if you can find it.

I'm sure the war has something to do with it. The plants your talking about are grown in a pretty dangerous area, at the moment.
