Larf. How much are you getting? What counts?

I feel like I got a LOTTTT of larf despite lollipoping early in.

I feel like lollipopping was bad and reduced my yields.

where did I go wrong?

I basically called anything smaller than .5g larf and tossed it in the concentrates bin.

seems like my plants were 50:50 with larf and decent buds.

On most stems. Every node was larf and just the top bud was keepable.

Here’s my numbers. 800 out of 2000g was larf.

also. 1200g wet from 6 plants is pathetic.

my first grow. Very first grow ever. With shit equipment and HALF the amount of plants yielded more.

if this gets me 20% return on wet weight which is 240g of dry bud then not even 10oz is horrible.

Started making some shatter.

few thoughts off the bat

1. need a bigger extractor. OR. Should be doing it the proper way: let my popcorn bud and larf cure and dry, then chop and rinse like I usually do. Less work. Less butane. Not sure if I like fresh frozen.

2. I should NOT of used heat to get on the blade to soften and drip the oil a few times. It made dark spots in the oil. I knew this would happen too. Got impatient. Ugh. Damnit.

yields were low considering how much damn work I did running 1 can per 2x14” extraction tube.



Usually dry bud yield is 20% of wet bud yield.

so instead of rinsing 1000g of wet bud. It would be easier to dry and chop it into 200g of nice, dry, cured, chopped bud/leaf to rinse. One chamber. One can. Done. Then I get my 25% return off that. 10g.

right now. I pulled 10g off 200g of fresh frozen and it was a lot of work and took like 7 cans/7 runs. London colibri butane cost me $59CAD for a 12 pack.

The strawberry jager batch out of the chamber. Taking a quick look. Will leave in overnight at 40c

turning to gold glass already. There’s always a few damn specs though.

never in my life have I got clear or pink shatter. Just saw pink this summer. Tasted amazing and looked soooo nice. Clear with a hint of pink. I wish.
